3. Setup
Unpacking and Placement:
- Carefully remove all packaging materials, tape, and any promotional labels from the oven.
- Place the oven on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 6 inches (15 cm) of clear space on all sides and above the oven for proper ventilation.
- Do not place the oven directly against a wall or under cabinets that may be damaged by heat.
Initial Cleaning and First Use:
- Before first use, wipe the interior of the oven and all accessories (food tray, wire rack, air fry basket, crumb tray) with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Insert the crumb tray at the bottom, and place the wire rack and other accessories as desired.
- To eliminate any manufacturing odors, operate the oven empty for approximately 30 minutes. Set the function to Bake at 450°F (232°C). A slight burning smell is normal during this initial operation. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
- After the initial burn-off, allow the oven to cool completely before using it for cooking.
4. Operating Instructions
The Midea Flexify Pro features an intuitive control panel for easy operation. Refer to the control panel image below for button and dial locations.

Control Panel Functions:
- Digital Display: Shows temperature, time, and selected cooking mode.
- Rotary Dial: Used to select cooking functions, adjust temperature, and set time. Press to confirm selection or start/pause cooking.
- Function Buttons: Dedicated buttons for various cooking modes (e.g., Air Fry, Toast, Bake, Broil, Roast, Pizza, Reheat, Warm, Slow Cook, Dehydrate).
- Light On/Off: Toggles the interior oven light.
- Temp/Slice: Adjusts temperature or toast slice settings.
- Time/Darkness: Adjusts cooking time or toast darkness level.
- Conv. On/Off: Activates or deactivates the convection fan.
- Cancel/Power: Stops current operation or turns the oven off.
- Pizza Style: Selects specific pizza crust options (Thin Crust, Classic, Rising Crust, Deep Dish).
General Operation Steps:
- Power On: Plug the appliance into a grounded electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.
- Select Function: Turn the rotary dial to cycle through the available cooking functions (e.g., Air Fry, Bake, Roast). The selected function will be highlighted on the display.
- Adjust Temperature/Time: Once a function is selected, the default temperature and time will appear. Use the Temp/Slice and Time/Darkness buttons, or turn the rotary dial, to adjust these settings.
- Preheat (if applicable): For functions requiring preheating, the oven will display "PREHEAT" and the target temperature. Once the target temperature is reached, the oven will beep.
- Start Cooking: After setting the desired parameters and preheating (if necessary), press the rotary dial to start the cooking cycle.
- Pause/Stop: Press the rotary dial again to pause cooking. Press the Cancel/Power button to stop cooking and turn off the oven.
Specific Cooking Modes:
- Air Fry: Ideal for crispy foods with minimal oil. Place food in the air fry basket. Use the XpressFry Air Fry Mode for optimal results.
- Pizza: Select the Pizza function, then use the "Pizza Style" button to choose from Thin Crust, Classic, Rising Crust, or Deep Dish options.
- Toast: Select the Toast function. Use the Time/Darkness button to adjust the desired toast shade.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your Midea Flexify Pro oven.
Daily Cleaning:
- Always unplug the oven and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish.
- The XpressClean enamel interior and baking pan can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive sponge can be used.
- Remove and empty the crumb tray after each use to prevent grease buildup and potential fire hazards. Wash the crumb tray with warm, soapy water.
Deep Cleaning:
- For thorough cleaning, remove all accessories (wire rack, air fry basket, food tray, crumb tray). These can be washed in warm, soapy water or placed in the dishwasher if specified by the manufacturer (refer to accessory care instructions).
- Clean the interior walls with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid spraying cleaner directly onto heating elements.
