1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

To prevent injury to yourself and others, or damage to the appliance, please observe the following safety precautions:

  • Ensure the power source matches the requirements specified on the product label.
  • Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
  • Keep the appliance away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  • Do not block ventilation openings. Ensure adequate airflow around the unit.
  • When using in a vehicle, ensure the vehicle's voltage is stable. Unstable voltage can cause malfunctions.
  • After starting the engine, wait approximately 1 minute before connecting the appliance.
  • Avoid sudden acceleration or braking when the unit is connected in a vehicle.
  • Avoid simultaneous use with other high-power car-mounted equipment to prevent overloading the vehicle's electrical system.
  • This appliance uses R134a refrigerant. Do not attempt to repair or modify the refrigeration system yourself. Contact qualified service personnel.
  • Keep out of reach of children. The child lock feature can be activated by pressing the Up and Down buttons simultaneously for about 3 seconds.

5. Setup

5.1 Placement

Place the refrigerator on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation (at least 10 cm on all sides). Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

5.2 Power Connection

Your Garvee refrigerator supports three power options:

  • AC 100V (Household): Connect the AC power cord to the AC adapter, then plug the adapter into the refrigerator's AC input port and the power cord into a standard household outlet.
  • DC 12V/24V (Vehicle): Connect the DC power cord to the refrigerator's DC input port, then plug the other end into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
  • Portable Power Supply/Generator (Sold Separately): Connect the appropriate power cord (AC or DC, depending on the portable power supply) to the refrigerator.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button on the control panel to turn the unit on or off. The digital display will illuminate when powered on.

6.2 Temperature Setting

Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to adjust the desired temperature. The temperature can be set between -20°C and 60°C in 1°C increments. The unit will automatically switch between cooling/freezing and warming modes based on the set temperature and ambient conditions. If the set temperature exceeds 35°C, the unit will operate in warming mode.

6.3 Mode Selection (MAX/ECO)

Press the Mode button to switch between MAX and ECO modes.

  • MAX Mode: Provides rapid cooling or heating. Ideal when quick temperature changes are needed.
  • ECO Mode: Energy-saving mode for efficient operation. Recommended for prolonged use to conserve power.

6.4 Child Lock Function

To prevent accidental changes to settings or opening by children, activate the child lock. Press the Up and Down arrow buttons simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds to engage or disengage the child lock.

6.5 Battery Monitor Function

When connected to a vehicle's DC power, the unit monitors the battery voltage to prevent over-discharge. It will automatically turn off if the voltage drops below a safe level and restart when the voltage recovers. Refer to the table below for voltage thresholds:

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

  • Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the unit is completely dry before plugging it back in.

7.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, clean the unit thoroughly, leave the lid slightly ajar to prevent odors, and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area.

Unusual noise. Unit not on a flat surface; fan obstruction. Place on a stable, flat surface; check for obstructions around the fan.
