  • Indoor Display: Shows current temperature and humidity of the main unit's location (light yellow zone).
  • Sensor 1 Display: Shows current temperature and humidity from the first remote sensor (green zone).
  • Sensor 2 Display: Shows current temperature and humidity from the second remote sensor (blue zone).
  • Time & Calendar: Displays current time and date, including Daylight Saving Time (DST) indicator.
  • MIN/MAX Values: Shows the minimum and maximum recorded temperatures and humidity for each zone.
  • Alert Indicators: Bell icons indicate active alarms.
  • Buttons: CH1, CH2, MODE, +/CLE, -/RF for navigation and settings.

Wireless Remote Sensors (Transmitters)

The two compact wireless sensors transmit temperature data to the main unit. They are designed for placement inside refrigerators, freezers, or other remote locations.

  • Each sensor has a power indicator and a channel switch (CH1/CH2) inside the battery compartment.
  • They transmit data wirelessly up to 100 meters (328 feet) in open areas.

Setup

1. Powering the Main Unit

The main unit offers dual power options:

  • Battery Operation: Insert 3 x AAA 1.5V batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. The backlight will automatically turn off after 10 seconds to conserve power.
  • USB Power: Connect the included USB cable to the power port on the main unit and to a USB power adapter (not included). In USB mode, the backlight remains permanently active and has 3 adjustable brightness levels.

2. Installing Batteries in Remote Sensors

For each remote sensor:

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the sensor.
  2. Insert 2 x AA 1.5V batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Inside the battery compartment, set the channel switch to either CH1 or CH2. Ensure each sensor is assigned a unique channel.
  4. Close the battery compartment securely.

3. Pairing the Sensors

The sensors are designed for automatic pairing:

  1. Once the main unit is powered on, insert batteries into Transmitter 1 and Transmitter 2 in order.
  2. The sensors will automatically search for signals and connect quickly to the main unit.
  3. Temperature and humidity data will then be displayed in real-time on the main unit's screen.
  4. In case of interference or connection loss, press the TX pairing button on the main unit to immediately re-establish the connection.

4. Placement and Mounting

The main unit offers versatile mounting options:

  • Stand: Use the integrated foldable stand on the back for tabletop placement.
  • Wall Mount: Utilize the hang hole on the back to mount the unit on a wall.
  • Magnetic Attachment: Attach the included self-adhesive magnetic pad to the back of the unit, then place it on any magnetic surface like a refrigerator door.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the main unit and sensors with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in the main unit (3 x AAA) and sensors (2 x AA each) when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
  • Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No display on main unitBatteries are dead or incorrectly inserted; USB cable not connected or faulty.Check battery polarity and replace if necessary. Ensure USB cable is securely connected and power source is active.
Remote sensor readings not displayed (dashes shown)Sensor out of range; sensor batteries dead; interference; sensor not paired.Move sensor closer to the main unit. Replace sensor batteries. Press the TX button on the main unit to re-establish connection. Ensure sensor channel is correctly set (CH1/CH2).
Inaccurate temperature/humidity readingsSensor placed in direct sunlight or near heat/cold source; ventilation issues.Relocate sensors to a more representative area. Allow time for readings to stabilize. Compare with another known accurate thermometer if possible.
Alarm not soundingAlarm not enabled or limits set incorrectly; volume too low.Verify alarm settings and ensure they are active. Check the set temperature limits.
