Setup and Installation
1. Direct Wiring Connection
The KDR-E2 allows for direct wiring connections without the need for bullet connectors. This simplifies the installation process.
- Strip the insulation from the end of your accessory wire.
- Insert the exposed copper wire into the desired terminal (A, B, C, or D).
- Tighten the screw on the terminal to secure the wire firmly.

2. Main Power Connection (ACC Linkage)
Connect the main power input wires to your motorcycle's battery and an ACC (Accessory) power source. The ACC connection ensures the relay activates only when the ignition is turned on, preventing battery drain.
- Connect the main positive (+) wire to the motorcycle battery's positive terminal.
- Connect the main negative (-) wire to the motorcycle battery's negative terminal or a suitable ground point.
- Connect the ACC wire to an accessory power source that receives power when the ignition key is turned on.

When power is supplied to the ACC line, the relay contacts close, distributing direct power to each of the four systems.

3. Water-Resistant Cover Installation
Install the silicone water-resistant cover and rubber ring to protect the terminals from moisture.
- Pass the wiring through the water-resistant cover.
- Connect the wiring to the main unit terminals.
- Attach the water-resistant cover to the main unit.
- Ensure the cover is securely in place to prevent rain penetration.

Caution: To prevent submersion in water, always install the wiring facing downwards. The terminals are rust-proofed, but corrosion may occur depending on the usage environment.
4. Mounting
The compact design allows for installation in tight spaces, such as under the seat. Use the included mounting base or double-sided tape for secure attachment.

Operation
Once installed and wired correctly, the KAEDEAR KDR-E2 will automatically provide power to your connected accessories when the motorcycle's ignition is turned on. Power will be cut off when the ignition is turned off, protecting your battery from drain.
Each of the four output systems can handle a maximum of 5A, with a total maximum output of 20A for the entire unit.
Maintenance
Fuse Management
The KDR-E2 is designed for easy fuse management. Simply flip open the silicone cover to access the fuses. This allows for quick inspection with a circuit tester and easy replacement if a fuse blows.

Caution: Low-profile fuses are easily damaged, so handle them carefully when removing or inserting them.
Troubleshooting
- No Power to Accessories:
- Check if the motorcycle ignition is on.
- Inspect all fuses in the KDR-E2 unit. Replace any blown fuses with the correct amperage (2A, 3A, or 5A).
- Verify the main power connections to the battery and the ACC wire connection are secure.
- Ensure accessory wires are properly stripped and tightened in their respective terminals.
- Fuses Blow Frequently:
- The connected accessory may be drawing too much current. Ensure the accessory's current draw does not exceed 5A for its individual circuit or 20A total for the unit.
- Check for short circuits in the accessory's wiring.
- Water or Corrosion Issues:
- Ensure the water-resistant silicone cover is properly installed and sealed.
- Verify that the unit is installed with wiring facing downwards to allow for drainage.
- Regularly inspect terminals for signs of corrosion, especially in harsh environments.
