2. Safety Information
- Initial Placement: Before plugging in your ice maker, it must stand upright for at least 6 hours to allow the refrigerant fluid to settle.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: When using, please avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight.
- Do Not Invert: Do not invert the ice maker, as it may cause compressor or refrigeration system failures.
- Drainage Pipe: Before use, ensure the drainage pipe is securely connected to prevent leaks that could cause damage.
- WARNING: Do not insert hands into the ice outlet to avoid injury.

5. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the ice maker and all accessories from the packaging.
- Placement: Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Settle Refrigerant: Allow the ice maker to stand upright for at least 6 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant fluid to settle properly.
- Connect Drainage Pipe: Ensure the drainage pipe at the back of the unit is securely connected to prevent any leaks.

6. Operating Instructions
Follow these simple steps to enjoy fresh nugget ice:
- Add Water: Open the top cover and pour fresh, clean water into the water reservoir. Do not exceed the maximum fill line. The machine has a 1-liter water tank capacity.
- Place Ice Basket: Ensure the ice basket is properly placed inside the unit.
- Start Ice Making: Press the 'ICE' button on the control panel. The indicator light will illuminate, and the machine will begin producing ice.
- Ice Full Indicator: The 'ICE FULL' indicator light will illuminate when the ice basket is full, and the machine will automatically pause ice production.
- Add Water Indicator: The 'ADD WATER' indicator light will illuminate when the water reservoir is low, and the machine will pause. Refill the reservoir to resume ice production.
- Light Function: Press the 'LIGHT' button to turn the interior light on or off.
- Collecting Ice: Use the provided ice scoop to retrieve ice from the basket. When taking out the ice basket, it is recommended to tilt it at a corner for a few seconds so that any remaining water can flow to the water tank and avoid spilling.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your ice maker.
7.1 Automatic Self-Cleaning
- Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
- Press the 'CLEAN' button on the control panel. The icon will light up, and the machine will run a cleaning procedure for at least 10 minutes.
- Press the 'CLEAN' button again to stop the cleaning cycle.
- Drain the dirty water through the drainage hose at the back of the unit.
- Repeat the cleaning 2-4 times if needed until the ice maker becomes clean and no residual detergents are present.

7.2 Cleaning Surface of the Ice Maker
- Clean the interior and water tank with a soft cloth.
- Turn off the ice maker and unplug it before cleaning.
- For the stainless steel surface, use a commercial cleaner for stainless steel and a granule-free liquid cleanser. Rub in the direction of the brush lines with a damp, soft sponge. Dry the surface with a soft cloth.
- Note: Do not apply appliance wax, polisher, solvents, or chemicals on the stainless steel surface.
- Clean the ice basket and ice scoop with a soft cloth dipped in soapy water, then rinse them. Note: Do not use solvents or chemicals.
7.3 Descaling
To keep ice tasting fresh and the ice maker looking great, regular descaling is recommended, especially in hard water areas.
- Frequency: Descale monthly in moderately hard water areas, or every two to three weeks in hard to very hard water areas.
- Solution: Use a descaling solution (e.g., white vinegar and water) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Procedure: Follow the self-cleaning procedure (Section 7.1) using the descaling solution.
- After descaling, run the self-cleaning procedure 2-4 times with fresh water to rinse thoroughly.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your ice maker, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions.
