1. Overview

The Sonmol Choking Rescue Device is an automatic anti-choking device designed for emergency airway obstruction relief in infants, children, and adults. 2. Device Components

3. Setup and Preparation

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps carefully when using the Sonmol Choking Rescue Device during an emergency. This device is designed for ease of use, even for individuals with limited hand strength.

1. Assess the Situation: Confirm the individual is choking and unable to breathe, cough, or speak.
2. Position the Victim: If possible, have the victim sit or stand. For a child or toddler, ensure they are held securely.
3. Place the Mask: Firmly place the appropriate-sized mask over the victim's mouth and nose, ensuring a complete and airtight seal. The mask should cover both the mouth and nose without gaps.

4. Activate Suction: With one hand holding the mask firmly in place, use your other hand to press the trigger button on the device with a quick, firm motion. This action generates powerful suction to dislodge the obstruction.
5. Observe and Repeat: After pressing, observe if the obstruction has been cleared. If not, reposition the mask slightly to ensure a good seal and repeat the suction process.
6. Safety Valve Mechanism: The device features a 3-valve system. When reloading (releasing the trigger), the central valve closes, and air is expelled through the two side valves, preventing the obstruction from being pushed further into the airway. When the trigger is pressed, the side valves close, and suction is directed through the central valve.
