5. Setup

5.1. Tools Required

5.2. Outdoor Station Installation

1. Mounting: Secure the outdoor station's mounting bracket to the wall using screws and wall plugs. Ensure the bracket is level and at an appropriate height (approximately 1.5m from the ground).
2. Wiring: Connect the 2-wire cable from the indoor monitor to the designated terminals on the outdoor station. If connecting an electric lock or exit button, follow the wiring diagram provided.
3. Secure Device: Mount the outdoor station onto its bracket and secure it with the anti-theft screws at the bottom.

5.3. Indoor Monitor Installation

1. Mounting: Attach the indoor monitor's mounting bracket to the desired wall location using screws and wall plugs.
2. Wiring: Connect the 2-wire cable from the outdoor station to the corresponding terminals on the back of the indoor monitor. Connect the power adapter to the monitor's power input.
3. Secure Device: Carefully slide the indoor monitor onto its wall bracket until it clicks into place.

6.2. Remote App Control

Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app (available for iOS and Android). Connect your indoor monitor to your home's 2.4 GHz WiFi network. Once connected, you can receive push notifications, answer calls, and remotely unlock your door or gate from anywhere using your smartphone. The system supports up to 10 mobile devices for shared access.
