4. Setup

4.1 Placement

  • Place the ice maker on a firm, level surface capable of supporting its weight when full of ice and water.
  • Ensure the location has adequate ventilation. Do not place the unit in an enclosed cabinet without proper airflow.
  • Avoid placing the unit near heat-generating appliances or in direct sunlight.

4.2 Initial Preparation

After transportation, it is crucial to keep the ice maker upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle, preventing potential damage to the compressor.

4.3 Water Connection

The Dessiz Dzb-45 offers two methods for water intake:

  • External Water Supply (Tap Water Inlet): Connect the provided 2-point water inlet pipe from a faucet to the designated tap water inlet on the back of the machine. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
  • Self-Priming Water (Bottled Water): Use the Φ6*Φ10 bucket self-suction water inlet pipe to draw water from a large bottled water source. Connect this pipe to the self-absorbing water inlet on the back of the machine.

Ensure a proper drainage connection is established. The unit requires gravity drainage, so position the sewage pipe to drain into a suitable floor drain or container.
