1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and setup of your Lemolifys YL-4021 Brushless Cordless Snow Shovel. Designed for clearing snow from driveways, decks, and sidewalks, this battery-powered unit features a 17-inch clearing width, a powerful brushless motor, and convenient wheels for ease of use.

2. Safety Information

4. Setup

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your snow shovel for use:

  1. Install Wheels: Use a tool to remove the screws on the shovel head. Align the wheels and secure them with the screws. Ensure correct orientation as shown in the diagram.
  2. Connect Extension Pole: Align the extension pole with the main unit and tighten to secure.
  3. Install Auxiliary Handle: Position the auxiliary handle for comfortable grip and tighten its fasteners.
  4. Charge Batteries: Fully charge both 4.5Ah lithium-ion batteries using the provided charger before initial use. The intelligent chip battery ensures smooth operation even in low temperatures.
  5. Insert Battery: Slide a charged battery into the battery slot on the main handle until it clicks into place.

5. Operating Instructions

The Lemolifys YL-4021 is designed for effortless snow removal. It is ideal for clearing light, fluffy snow.

  • Starting the Unit: Engage the double safety switch and press the power button to start the brushless motor.
  • Clearing Snow: Push the snow shovel forward. The 17-inch clearing width and 11-inch clearing depth allow for efficient removal. The brushless motor operates at 3300 RPM, throwing snow up to 26 feet.
  • Adjusting Throw Direction: Use the 60° rotatable adjustable snow guide plate to direct snow to the side, forward, or at a specific angle, minimizing extra cleanup.
  • Monitoring Battery: The intelligent display screen shows the remaining battery power, allowing you to plan your snow removal tasks effectively.
  • Battery Life: Each 4.5Ah battery provides 0-50 minutes of working time, depending on the load. With two batteries, you can extend your work time without interruption.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your snow shovel.

  • Cleaning: Thoroughly wipe off snow and debris from the machine after each use.
  • Storage: Store the snow shovel in a dry place. The handle can be folded into three parts for compact storage.
  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Recharge as needed. The high energy density lithium-ion battery can be cycled 5000+ times.

  • Unit Fails to Start:
    • Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted.
    • Check the battery temperature. If too cold, allow it to warm up to room temperature.

  • Reduced Performance:

    • Ensure the unit is not attempting to clear snow deeper or heavier than recommended (ideal for powder snow up to 11 inches).
