Setup Instructions
The llano T1 offers true plug-and-play functionality. Follow these steps for quick setup.
Mirroring Mode Connection (Method 1)
- Power the Receiver (RX): Connect the USB-C power cable to the receiver unit and plug the USB-A end into a 5V/1A power adapter or a USB-C port on your display for power.
- Connect to Display: Plug the HDMI end of the receiver (or use the included HDMI extension cable if needed) into an available HDMI port on your TV, monitor, or projector.
- Select Input: Switch your display's input source to the HDMI port where the receiver is connected. You should see the llano T1 user interface on your screen.
- Connect Your Device:
- For Apple (iOS/macOS) Devices: Open Screen Mirroring on your iPhone/iPad/MacBook, locate and select "LLANO-T1". For the first connection, you may need to enter a PIN code displayed on the screen.
- For Android Phones: Pull down the notification bar, tap the wireless screen icon (often labeled "Wireless Projection" or "Smart View"), and select "LLANO-T1".
- For Windows 10 and above: Press the Windows key + K, select the device, and find "LLANO-T1".
Screen-Off Casting Mode (Method 2)
This mode allows you to cast content while your phone screen is off, saving power and allowing you to use your device for other tasks. This mode is only applicable if the app itself has a screen mirroring feature.
- Connect to Shared Network: Scan the QR code displayed on the screen using your Apple/Android device to join the shared network.
- Connect to Internet: Scan the second QR code to enter network settings and connect the screen mirror device to the internet.
- Screen Mirroring: On your Apple or Android phone/tablet, use video playback apps. Play video, tap the TV icon in the upper right corner of the video, and select "LLANO-T1".

Troubleshooting
- No Signal/Flickering Display: Ensure the receiver is properly powered (5V/1A adapter recommended). Check all HDMI and USB-C connections. Try a different HDMI port on your display.
- Cannot Cast from Certain Apps: The device does not support HDCP-protected content from streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, etc. This is a copyright protection feature and not a device malfunction.
- Poor Signal/Lag: Ensure the transmitting device and receiver are within the 98-foot (30-meter) range. Minimize obstructions between the devices. Avoid strong electromagnetic interference.
- Connection Issues: For Apple devices, ensure the correct PIN is entered during the first connection. For Android/Windows, verify you are selecting the correct "LLANO-T1" network.
