Main Unit Controls:

5. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Connect Hot Air Gun: Plug the hot air gun connector into the designated port on the front of the main unit. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  3. Connect Soldering Iron: Plug the soldering iron connector into its designated port on the front of the main unit.
  4. Place Soldering Iron Stand: Position the soldering iron stand on a stable, heat-resistant surface near your work area. Insert the soldering iron into the stand.
  5. Connect Power: Insert the power cord into the power input socket on the rear of the main unit, then plug the other end into a grounded electrical outlet.
  6. Initial Power On: Flip the main power switch on the rear of the unit to the 'ON' position. The digital displays should illuminate.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Hot Air Rework Station Operation

  1. Ensure the main power switch on the rear is ON.
  2. Press the 'HOT AIR' ON/OFF switch on the front panel to activate the hot air gun.
  3. Adjust the 'HOT AIR TEMPERATURE' knob to set the desired temperature (range: 100°C-480°C). The display will show the set temperature, then the actual temperature as it heats up.
  4. Adjust the 'AIR' knob to control the airflow rate. Start with a lower setting and increase as needed for your application.
  5. To change temperature units, press the '°C/°F' button.
  6. After use, turn off the 'HOT AIR' switch. The hot air gun will enter a cooling mode before shutting down completely.

6.2. Soldering Iron Operation

  1. Ensure the main power switch on the rear is ON.
  2. Press the 'SOLDERING' ON/OFF switch on the front panel to activate the soldering iron.
  3. Adjust the 'SOLDERING TEMPERATURE' knob to set the desired temperature (range: 200°C-480°C). The display will show the set temperature, then the actual temperature as it heats up.
  4. To change temperature units, press the '°C/°F' button.
  5. Before and after each use, clean the soldering iron tip with the damp sponge in the stand and tin it with a small amount of solder.
  6. After use, turn off the 'SOLDERING' switch and place the iron back in its stand.

6.3. Temperature Calibration

The TT-Yihua-872D features advanced PID digitally programmed calibration and real-time temperature proofreading. This ensures high temperature stability and accuracy.
