1. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before using the HOTO BlowVac. Retain this manual for future reference.

  • This device is designed for dry debris only. Do not vacuum liquids or damp materials.
  • Ensure the dust cup and filters are clean to maintain optimal airflow and prevent the unit from stopping prematurely.
  • This cordless handheld vacuum is not intended for heavy pet hair or hair embedded in carpets and fabrics. Use for light, loose hair on hard surfaces.
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all body parts away from openings and moving parts.
  • Do not use without the dust cup and filter in place.
  • Do not allow children to operate the vacuum.

3. Product Overview

The HOTO BlowVac is a versatile 2-in-1 cordless handheld vacuum and electric compressed air duster. It features a powerful 225W brushless motor, 3 suction modes, and a quadruple filtration system for efficient cleaning in various environments.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the HOTO BlowVac. The device supports up to 20V/3A USB-C input for fast charging.

  • Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the device.
  • Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible 60W or higher USB-C power adapter (not included).
  • A full charge takes approximately 90 minutes with a compatible adapter.

4.2 Attaching Nozzles

To attach a nozzle for vacuuming:

  • Align the desired nozzle (2-in-1 crevice, wide, or extension hose with adapter) with the vacuum intake port.
  • Push firmly until it clicks into place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection

  • Power On/Off: Long press the power button to turn the device on or off.
  • Switch Gears (Suction Modes): Short press the power button to cycle through the 3 suction levels:
    • Eco Mode (8,000Pa): Up to 45 minutes runtime, ideal for light tasks.
    • Standard Mode (15,000Pa): Up to 20 minutes runtime, suitable for daily cleanup.
    • Boost Mode (23,000Pa): Up to 10 minutes runtime, for stubborn debris.

5.2 Vacuum Mode

Use the appropriate nozzle for your cleaning task:

  • Wide Nozzle: Best for clearing crumbs and debris from desks, sofas, and countertops.
  • 2-in-1 Crevice Nozzle: Ideal for tight spaces like car seat gaps and sofa seams.
  • Extension Hose with Adapter: Provides flexibility to reach under car seats, behind monitors, and along narrow spaces.

5.3 Blower Mode

To use the device as an electric compressed air duster:

  • Remove the dust cup from the main unit.
  • Insert the Blower Nozzle into the rear exhaust port of the main unit and rotate to lock it in place.
  • Use the blower mode to clean hard-to-reach spaces like car vents, seat rails, and dashboard gaps. It can also inflate air sofas, air mattresses, and stoke fires.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Emptying the Dust Cup

The HOTO BlowVac features a one-touch dust release for mess-free emptying.

  • Position the dust cup over a trash receptacle.
  • Press the one-touch dust release button to open the dust cup and empty its contents.

6.2 Cleaning and Replacing Filters

The quadruple filtration system helps reduce dust blowback. Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance.

  • To access the filter, press the release button on the dust cup and rotate it to detach from the main unit.
  • Hold the small tab on the filter and pull it out to remove.
  • Lift the silver pull ring and slide out the cyclone. The sponge inside can be removed with a gentle pull.
  • Rinse the dust cup, cyclone, sponge, and HEPA filter with water.
  • Allow all components to air dry completely before reassembling.
  • It is recommended that the filter and sponge be replaced every 3 months.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your HOTO BlowVac, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Unit stops shortly after starting: This often indicates a clogged dust cup or filters. Clean the dust cup and all filter components thoroughly to restore airflow.
  • Reduced suction power: Check if the dust cup is full or if the filters are dirty. Clean or replace as needed. Ensure all attachments are securely connected.
  • Device not charging: Ensure the USB-C cable is properly connected to both the device and a working power adapter. Use a 60W or higher USB-C adapter for optimal charging.
  • No power: Ensure the device is charged. Long press the power button to confirm it's being turned on correctly.
