Designed for comfort and efficiency, this mouse features a stable 2.4GHz wireless connection, adjustable DPI levels, and six responsive buttons for enhanced productivity.

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your Trueque Wireless Mouse for first-time use.

1. Install Battery

The mouse requires one AA battery (not included).

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the underside of the mouse.
  2. Insert one AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.

2. Connect USB Receiver

The USB receiver is stored within the mouse for convenience.

  1. Gently remove the USB receiver from its storage slot on the bottom of the mouse.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer.
  3. If your device only has USB-C ports, use the included USB-A to USB-C adapter. Connect the USB receiver to the adapter, then plug the adapter into your device's USB-C port.

3. Power On

Slide the power switch on the underside of the mouse to the "ON" position. The mouse will automatically connect to the receiver.

4. Compatibility

The Trueque Wireless Mouse is compatible with various operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and Chrome OS.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Use the power switch on the bottom of the mouse to turn it on or off. Turning the mouse off when not in use helps conserve battery life.

DPI Adjustment

The mouse features 3 adjustable DPI (Dots Per Inch) levels to control cursor sensitivity.

  • Press the DPI Switch Button (located behind the scroll wheel) to cycle through the available DPI settings: 800, 1200, and 1600 DPI.
  • Select the DPI level that best suits your preference for speed and precision.

Back and Forward Buttons

The side buttons provide quick navigation:

  • The Forward Button (top side button) allows you to navigate forward in web browsers or file explorers.
  • The Back Button (bottom side button) allows you to navigate backward in web browsers or file explorers.

Auto-Sleep Mode

To conserve battery, the mouse enters an auto-sleep mode after 1 minute of inactivity.

  • To wake the mouse, double-click any button.
  • A single AA battery can last up to 16 months thanks to this smart feature.

Silent Click Feature

The mouse is designed with silent click buttons to minimize noise, making it suitable for quiet environments.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

When the mouse performance degrades or it stops responding, it's time to replace the AA battery.

  1. Turn off the mouse using the power switch.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Remove the old AA battery.
  4. Insert a new AA battery, observing correct polarity.
  5. Close the battery compartment cover and turn the mouse on.

Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and hygiene:

  • Disconnect the mouse from your computer and turn it off.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the exterior of the mouse.
  • Avoid getting moisture into any openings.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Troubleshooting

Mouse not responding
  • Ensure the mouse is turned on.
  • Check if the battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
  • Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different port.
  • Move the mouse closer to the USB receiver to rule out range issues.
  • Re-pair the mouse by turning it off, unplugging the receiver, plugging the receiver back in, and then turning the mouse on.
Cursor movement is erratic or jumpy
  • Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse.
  • Use the mouse on a clean, non-reflective surface. A mouse pad is recommended.
  • Adjust the DPI setting to a lower level if the cursor is too sensitive.
Back/Forward buttons not working
  • Ensure you are using an application that supports these functions (e.g., web browser, file explorer).
  • Check for any software conflicts or custom button assignments in your operating system settings.
