4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation and Charging
- Drone Battery: Insert the flight battery into the drone's battery compartment until it clicks securely into place. To charge, remove the battery and connect it to the provided Type-C charging cable and a suitable USB power adapter (not included).
- Remote Control Battery: The remote control has an internal rechargeable battery. Connect the remote control to a Type-C charging cable and a USB power adapter to charge.
- Ensure both batteries are fully charged before each flight. Charging indicators will typically turn off or change color when charging is complete.
4.2 Propeller Installation
- Identify the correct propellers for each motor arm (usually marked A and B).
- Attach the propellers to the corresponding motor shafts, ensuring they are securely fastened. Use the provided screwdriver if necessary.
- Verify that all propellers are installed correctly and are free from damage before flight.
4.3 App Download and Connection
- Download the official CBDZONE drone application from your smartphone's app store.
- Power on the drone and then the remote control.
- On your smartphone, connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (usually named 'CBDZONE-XXXX').
- Open the drone application. The app should automatically connect to the drone, displaying a live video feed.
- The drone supports 5G high-definition image transmission for stable, real-time footage.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Pre-Flight Checklist
- Ensure drone and remote control batteries are fully charged.
- Check propellers for damage and ensure they are securely attached.
- Verify the drone's arms are fully unfolded and locked.
- Confirm GPS signal acquisition (if flying outdoors).
- Check for clear flight path and safe operating environment.
5.2 Takeoff and Landing
- One-Button Takeoff: After calibration and GPS lock (if applicable), press the dedicated one-button takeoff icon/button on the remote control or in the app. The drone will automatically ascend to a safe altitude and hover.
- Manual Takeoff: Push both control sticks simultaneously to the bottom-outer corners to start the motors. Slowly push the left stick (throttle) upwards to ascend.
- One-Button Landing: Press the dedicated one-button landing icon/button. The drone will automatically descend and land.
- Manual Landing: Slowly pull the left stick (throttle) downwards to descend. Once landed, push both control sticks simultaneously to the bottom-outer corners to stop the motors.
5.3 Basic Flight Controls
- Left Stick (Throttle/Yaw): Up/Down for altitude, Left/Right for rotation (yaw).
- Right Stick (Pitch/Roll): Up/Down for forward/backward movement (pitch), Left/Right for sideward movement (roll).
5.4 Advanced Flight Modes and Functions
- Headless Mode: In this mode, the drone's orientation is irrelevant. Forward is always forward relative to the pilot, making control easier for beginners. Activate via the remote control or app.
- Altitude Hold Mode: The drone maintains a stable altitude, allowing the pilot to focus on directional control. This is typically active by default.
- GPS Functions: Equipped with GPS, the drone offers enhanced stability and safety features:
- Automatic Return to Home (RTH): The drone will automatically return to its takeoff point in emergencies such as low battery, loss of signal, or when manually activated.
- Low Power Return: The drone initiates RTH when the battery level is critically low.
- Out of Control Return: If the drone loses connection with the remote control, it will automatically return to the takeoff point.
- Over Distance Return: If the drone flies beyond its communication range, it will initiate RTH.
- One-Click Return: A dedicated button on the remote control or in the app to initiate RTH.
- Trajectory Flight: Draw a path on the app's map interface, and the drone will follow it automatically.
- Speed Adjustment: Adjust flight speed settings via the remote control or app to suit your skill level and flight conditions.
