4. Setup

The DELTA Pro Ultra X Extra Battery is designed for simple plug-and-play integration with your main DELTA Pro Ultra X unit. Follow these steps to connect your extra battery:

  1. Ensure both the DELTA Pro Ultra X main unit and the extra battery are powered off before making any connections.
  2. Locate the battery expansion port on your DELTA Pro Ultra X main unit.
  3. Connect one end of the provided EcoFlow Battery Connection Cable to the expansion port on the main unit.
  4. Connect the other end of the cable to the corresponding port on the DELTA Pro Ultra X Extra Battery.
  5. Once connected, you can power on your DELTA Pro Ultra X system. The extra battery will be automatically recognized and integrated.

5. Operating Instructions

Once connected, the extra battery operates in conjunction with your DELTA Pro Ultra X main unit. Its capacity is seamlessly added to the overall system.

  • Power On/Off: The extra battery powers on and off automatically with the main DELTA Pro Ultra X unit.
  • Monitoring: Use the EcoFlow app to monitor the charge status, power input/output, and other parameters of the entire DELTA Pro Ultra X system, including the connected extra batteries.
  • Charging: The extra battery charges simultaneously with the main unit when the DELTA Pro Ultra X is connected to a power source (AC, solar, or generator). The system intelligently manages the charging process for all connected batteries.
  • Discharging: Power is drawn from the combined capacity of all connected batteries as needed by your appliances.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your extra battery.

  • Storage: If storing the battery for an extended period, ensure it is charged to approximately 50-80% and stored in a cool, dry environment (0°C to 40°C / 32°F to 104°F). Recharge every 3-6 months to prevent deep discharge.
  • Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the exterior of the battery. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Inspection: Periodically check the connection cable and ports for any signs of damage or wear.
