3. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the guitar and accessories from the gig bag. Verify all included components: Gig Bag, Hexagon Wrench, USB Type-C Cable, Instrument Cable, and EXP16 Strings.
  2. Initial Inspection: Check the guitar for any visible damage. Ensure all tuning pegs are secure and strings are properly seated.
  3. Charging the SP1 System: Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the guitar's charging port (located at the bottom of the body) and to a suitable USB power source. The indicator light will show charging status.
  4. Tuning: Use a digital tuner to accurately tune the guitar to standard EADGBe tuning. The Zero Fret design aids in stable tuning.
  5. String Action Adjustment: If the string action (height of strings above the fretboard) is not to your preference, use the included Hexagon Wrench to adjust the truss rod. Turn clockwise to lower action, counter-clockwise to raise. Caution: If unsure, consult a professional guitar technician for truss rod adjustments to avoid damage.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Smart AcousticPlus (SP1) System

The SP1 system provides built-in effects and acts as a Bluetooth speaker. The control button is located on the upper bout of the guitar body.

  1. Power On/Off: Press and hold the control button for a few seconds until the indicator light illuminates (or turns off).
  2. Cycling Effects: Short press the control button to cycle through the available effects: Natural, Reverb, Delay, and Fusion. Each effect is indicated by a different color of the button's LED.
  3. Volume Control: Rotate the control button to adjust the volume of the effects and the Bluetooth speaker.

4.2. Bluetooth Speaker Function

The SP1 system allows you to connect your guitar to a Bluetooth-enabled device to play music through its internal speaker.

  1. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure the SP1 system is powered on.
  2. Pairing: On your external device (phone, tablet, etc.), search for Bluetooth devices and select "Enya NOVA GO SP1".
  3. Playback: Once paired, audio from your device will play through the guitar's internal speaker. You can adjust the volume using the guitar's control button or your device.

4.3. USB Recording

The guitar supports USB On-The-Go (OTG) connectivity for direct recording to a computer or mobile device.

  1. Connect: Use the provided USB Type-C cable to connect the guitar to your computer or compatible mobile device.
  2. Software: Open your preferred Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) or recording application on your device. The guitar should be recognized as an audio input device.
  3. Record: Select the guitar as your input and begin recording.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the carbon fiber body and neck with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • String Replacement: Replace strings regularly for optimal tone and playability. The guitar comes with EXP16 Phosphor Bronze strings.
  • Storage: Store the guitar in its included gig bag when not in use to protect it from dust and minor impacts. While carbon fiber is durable, proper storage extends its lifespan.
  • Battery Care: For the SP1 system, ensure regular charging. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to approximately 50% to prolong its life.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound from Internal Speaker:
    • Ensure the SP1 system is powered on and charged.
    • Check the volume level on the guitar and any connected Bluetooth device.
  • Effects Not Working:
