2. Safety Instructions
- Always ensure the processing cup and lid are installed correctly. Turn them clockwise until a "click" sound is heard, indicating they are securely locked. The machine will not operate if not properly assembled.
- For safe operation and optimal dicing results, the feed inlet and fixing pin must be installed correctly.
- Do not immerse the main motor unit in water or any other liquid. Clean the main unit with a damp cloth only.
- Keep hands and utensils away from moving blades during operation. Always use the food pusher to feed ingredients.
- Unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning, assembling, or disassembling parts.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

4. Setup and Assembly
Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed and components are clean. Follow these steps for proper assembly:
- Place the main motor unit on a stable, flat surface.
- Install the desired blade onto the shaft in the processing cup. Ensure it is securely seated.
- Attach the processing cup to the main unit. Turn it clockwise until it locks into place with an audible "click."
- Place the lid onto the processing cup. Turn it clockwise until it also locks securely.
- Insert the feed inlet and fixing pin into their designated slots on the lid. These components are crucial for both safety and proper operation.

5. Operating Instructions
Once assembled, you can begin processing ingredients. Always ensure ingredients are cut to a size that fits comfortably into the feed inlet.
Speed Selection:
- Speed 1 (180 rpm): Ideal for cutting hard vegetables and fruits such as carrots, potatoes, onions, and cucumbers.
- Speed 2 (280 rpm): Suitable for softer foods like eggplant, mushrooms, and sausages.
Using the appropriate speed helps minimize ingredient breakage and ensures consistent results.
Processing Ingredients:
- Select and install the appropriate blade for your desired cut (dicing, slicing, or shredding).
- Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet.
- Turn the speed dial to the desired setting (Speed 1 or Speed 2).
- Place ingredients vertically into the feed inlet.
- Use the food pusher to gently guide the ingredients down towards the rotating blade. Do not force ingredients.
- The processed ingredients will automatically discharge into a container placed at the outlet.
- When finished, turn the speed dial to '0' and unplug the appliance.
Adjusting Slicing Thickness:
For the slicing blade, thickness can be adjusted by removing or adding spacers. Refer to Figure 3.3 for visual guidance.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your Anatole VD-3.
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Disassemble all removable parts: processing cup, lid, blades, feed inlet, and food pusher.
- Wash all removable parts by hand using warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately. The parts are also dishwasher safe.
- Use a soft brush to clean any food residue from the blades, exercising extreme caution as blades are sharp.
- Wipe the main motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water.
