5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Camera and Lenses
- Use the included microfiber cloth to gently clean the camera body and lenses.
- For stubborn dirt or smudges on lenses, use a lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optical surfaces.
- Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the lenses and camera finish.
5.2 Battery Care
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
- Avoid fully discharging batteries frequently to prolong their lifespan.
- If storing for extended periods, charge batteries to approximately 50-60%.
5.3 Waterproof Seal Inspection
Regularly inspect the rubber seals around the battery door and USB-C port for any dirt, debris, or damage. A clean and intact seal is crucial for maintaining the camera's waterproof integrity.
5.4 Storage
When not in use, store your GoPro MAX 2 in a protective case to prevent scratches and impacts. Keep it away from extreme temperatures and high humidity.
