5. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, sterilize all parts that come into contact with breast milk. Ensure all components are completely dry before assembly.

  1. Clean and Sterilize: Wash all pump parts (flanges, connectors, duckbill valves, bottles, nipples, bottle covers) in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and then sterilize according to manufacturer guidelines (e.g., boiling, steam sterilizer, or dishwasher safe).
  2. Assemble the Pump Body: Insert the duckbill valve firmly into the bottom of the connector. Attach the diaphragm to the top of the connector. Screw the flange onto the connector.
  3. Attach Bottle: Screw a clean bottle onto the assembled flange and connector unit.
  4. Connect Tubing: Insert one end of the air tube into the pump body assembly and the other end into the corresponding port on the motor unit. For single pumping, cap the unused port on the motor unit.
  5. Power On: Connect the power adapter to the pump motor unit and a power outlet, or ensure the built-in battery is charged.

Proper cleaning and maintenance are essential for hygiene and the longevity of your breast pump. The F1 Pro features a closed system design to prevent milk backflow into the tubing and motor unit, simplifying cleaning.

7.1 Daily Cleaning

After each use, disassemble all parts that come into contact with breast milk (flanges, connectors, duckbill valves, bottles). Wash them immediately in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly with clean water, and allow to air dry on a clean surface or use a dedicated drying rack. All milk-contacting parts are dishwasher safe.
