INFANS Jogging Stroller User Manual

Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your INFANS Jogging Stroller. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference. The INFANS jogging stroller is designed for children aged 6-36 months, with a maximum weight capacity of 33 lbs (15 kg).

Setup Instructions

The INFANS Jogging Stroller is designed for quick and easy setup. Most components are pre-assembled, requiring minimal effort to prepare for use.

1. Unfolding the Stroller

  1. Place the folded stroller on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Locate the folding lock mechanism, typically on the side of the frame. Release the lock.
  3. Gently pull the handle upwards and outwards until the stroller frame fully extends and locks into its open position. Ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged before proceeding.

2. Attaching Wheels

  1. Insert the rear wheels into their designated slots on the rear axle until they click securely into place.
  2. Attach the front wheel by aligning it with the front fork and pushing it firmly until it locks.

3. Attaching Trays and Accessories

  1. Attach the child snack tray to the front of the seat by aligning the connectors and pressing down until it clicks.
  2. Attach the parent tray to the handlebar by aligning the connectors and pressing down until it clicks.

Operating Instructions

1. Securing Your Child

Always use the 5-point safety harness to secure your child in the stroller. Ensure the straps are adjusted snugly around your child's shoulders, waist, and between their legs.

2. Adjusting the Backrest

The backrest can be adjusted to multiple positions, from 100° (upright sitting) to 166° (reclined for resting). Locate the adjustment mechanism behind the seat and gently recline or raise the backrest to the desired angle.

3. Using the Canopy

The zip-extend canopy provides UPF 50+ protection from the sun. Extend or retract the canopy as needed. A peek-a-boo window on top allows you to check on your child without disturbing them.

4. Braking System

The stroller features a one-step brake system on the rear wheels. To engage the brake, press down firmly on the brake pedal located near the rear wheels. To release, lift the pedal upwards. Always ensure the brake is engaged when the stroller is stationary.

5. Front Wheel Functionality

The front wheel can be set to either swivel for maneuverability or lock for stability during jogging or on uneven terrain. Locate the locking mechanism on the front wheel assembly and adjust as desired.

6. Using Trays and Storage

The child snack tray can be removed from one side for easy access when placing or removing your child. The parent tray includes two cup holders and a hidden compartment for small items. The large storage basket under the seat is suitable for diapers, snacks, and other essentials.

7. All-Terrain Tires

The stroller is equipped with extra-large inflatable rubber tires (12-inch front, 16-inch rear) designed for a smooth ride on various surfaces, including concrete, lawns, gravel paths, and soil.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Fabric Parts: Clean fabric components with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow to air dry completely. Do not use harsh detergents or bleach.
  • Frame: Wipe the frame with a soft, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
  • Wheels: Regularly check wheels for debris and clean as needed. Ensure tires are properly inflated.

Storage

When not in use, store the stroller in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The stroller can be folded for compact storage.

Troubleshooting

  • Stroller does not fold/unfold smoothly: Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism. Ensure all locks are disengaged before attempting to fold or unfold.
  • Wheels squeak or are difficult to turn: Clean the wheel axles and apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant if necessary. Check tire pressure.
  • Brake not engaging: Inspect the brake mechanism for any debris or misalignment. Ensure the brake pedal is fully depressed.
  • Harness not securing child: Ensure all buckles are properly engaged and straps are adjusted to fit snugly.
