5.1 Initial Placement
Place the humidifier on a flat, stable surface at least 15 cm (6 inches) away from walls and furniture. Ensure the mist outlet is not directed towards walls or electronic devices.
5.2 Filling the Water Tank
The IMUSA LP-1213 features a convenient top-fill design.
- Ensure the humidifier is unplugged.
- Remove the top cover.
- Pour clean tap water directly into the water tank up to the MAX fill line. Avoid overfilling.
- Alternatively, you can remove the entire water tank and fill it directly from a faucet.
- Replace the top cover securely.

5.3 Adding Aroma Oils (Optional)
If your model includes an aroma tray, you can add water-soluble essential oils for a pleasant fragrance.
- Locate the aroma tray (usually a small compartment on the side or back of the base unit).
- Add a few drops of water-soluble essential oil onto the aroma pad.
- Do not add oil directly into the water tank, as this can damage the unit.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off and Mist Level Adjustment
- Plug the humidifier into a power outlet. The unit will beep once.
- Press the Power/Mist Mode button (⏻) once to turn on the humidifier at the default mist level (Low).
- Press the Power/Mist Mode button repeatedly to cycle through mist levels: Low (approx. 160ml/h), Medium (approx. 260ml/h), High (approx. 400ml/h).
- To turn off the humidifier, long press the Power/Mist Mode button.

6.2 360° Rotating Nozzle
The mist outlet can be rotated 360 degrees to direct the mist flow in any desired direction.

6.3 Timer Function
Set the humidifier to automatically turn off after a specified period.
- Press the Timer/Sleep Mode button (⏱) repeatedly to set the timer for 2, 4, or 8 hours.
- The corresponding indicator light on the LED panel will illuminate.
- To cancel the timer, press the button until no timer indicator is lit.
6.4 Sleep Mode
Activate Sleep Mode for quiet operation and dimmed lights, ideal for nighttime use.
- Long press the Timer/Sleep Mode button (⏱) to enter Sleep Mode.
- In Sleep Mode, the humidifier operates quietly (approx. 24dB), and the LED display lights are dimmed or turned off.
- Long press the button again to exit Sleep Mode.

6.5 LED Mood Light

- Press the Light button (💡) to turn on the LED light.

7. Maintenance

7.2 Weekly Cleaning
To prevent mineral buildup and ensure clean mist output:
- Unplug the humidifier and disassemble the water tank from the base.
- Fill the water tank with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water. Let it soak for 30 minutes.
- Use a soft brush or cloth to clean the inside of the tank and the ultrasonic transducer in the base unit.
