2. Important Safety Precautions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:

  • Read all instructions before operating the blender.
  • Do not immerse the motor base in water or other liquids.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.
  • Avoid contact with moving parts.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to prevent the possibility of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but only when the blender is not running.
  • Blades are sharp. Handle with care.
  • Always operate blender with lid in place.
  • Do not blend hot liquids in the main pitcher as pressure buildup may cause the lid to eject and result in scalding.
  • Ensure the blender is properly assembled and the pitcher is securely placed on the motor base before operation. The micro-switch design prevents operation if not properly placed.

4. Setup and First Use

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Dispose of all packaging materials responsibly. Ensure all listed components are present and undamaged.

4.2 Cleaning Before First Use

Before using your blender for the first time, wash the pitcher, lid, and blade assembly in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The pitcher and lid are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended). Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.

4.3 Assembly

  1. Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface.
  2. Ensure the blade assembly is securely attached to the bottom of the pitcher.
  3. Place the pitcher onto the motor base, aligning the pitcher's base with the motor base's drive socket. Rotate slightly if necessary until it clicks into place. The blender will not operate unless the pitcher is correctly seated due to the micro-switch safety feature.

  5. Securely place the lid onto the pitcher. Ensure the lid is properly sealed.
