Setup

1. Battery Installation

To install the battery:

1. Ensure the device is powered off.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
3. Align the battery contacts with the terminals in the compartment.
4. Gently push the battery into place until it clicks securely.

2. SIM Card Installation

The OMIZN F24 requires a Nano SIM card for 4G LTE connectivity. A SIM card may be pre-installed for immediate use. If not, or if you need to replace it:

1. Remove the battery.
2. Locate the SIM card slot(s) within the battery compartment.
3. Insert the Nano SIM card with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring it is correctly oriented.
4. Reinstall the battery.

3. Initial Charging

For optimal performance, fully charge the device before first use.

1. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the side of the radio.
2. Plug the other end of the cable into the wall charger adapter, then into a power outlet.
3. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

To power on the device, press and hold the red power button located on the front panel until the screen illuminates. To power off, press and hold the same button until a power-off option appears on the screen, then confirm.

2. Volume Control

Rotate the knob located at the top of the device to adjust the volume. Rotate left to decrease volume, and rotate right to increase volume.

3. Group Selection and Push-to-Talk (PTT)

The OMIZN F24 allows communication within pre-defined groups. Use the navigation buttons (up/down arrows) to select your desired group from the main menu. Once a group is selected, press and hold the large orange PTT button on the side of the radio to transmit your voice. Release the button to listen.

4. Menu Navigation

Use the menu button (usually labeled "Menu" or represented by an icon) to access settings and features. Navigate through options using the up/down arrows and confirm selections with the enter button (often the center button or a dedicated "Select" button).

• Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the radio's exterior. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Waterproof Rating: The OMIZN F24 has an IP66 rating, meaning it is protected against dust and powerful water jets. It is not designed for submersion. Ensure all port covers are securely closed to maintain water resistance.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Store the radio in a cool, dry place when not in use.
