1. Introduction

The Ninja SLUSHi is a high-performance machine designed to create frozen drinks and slushies without the need for ice. It utilizes RapidChill Technology to freeze liquids evenly, producing smooth and flavorful results. 2. Important Safeguards

4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Clean: Wash the 72oz. vessel, auger, condensation catch, 2-part drip tray, and removable spout shroud with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
3. Assemble Drip Tray: Place the 2-part drip tray onto the machine base.
4. Install Auger: Insert the auger into the vessel, ensuring it is securely seated.
5. Attach Vessel: Place the vessel onto the machine base, aligning it properly until it clicks into place.
6. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

The Ninja SLUSHi machine uses RapidChill Technology to transform liquids into frozen drinks. For optimal results, ensure your liquid contains at least 4% sugar. Sugar-free recipes can be made using recommended sugar substitutes.

5.1. Preparing a Drink

1. Add Liquid: Pour your desired liquid into the 72oz. vessel. Ensure the liquid level is between the MIN FILL and MAX FILL lines.
2. Select Program: Choose one of the preset programs on the control panel:
   • SLUSH: For standard frozen drinks.
   • SPIKED SLUSH: Optimized for alcoholic frozen drinks.
   • FRAPPÉ: For coffee-shop style frozen beverages.
   • MILKSHAKE: For creamy, frozen milk-based drinks.
   • FROZEN JUICE: For naturally sweetened frozen purees.
3. Adjust Texture (Optional): Use the temperature control buttons (up/down arrows) to customize the thickness or thinness of your drink.
4. Start: Press the selected program button to begin the freezing process. The machine will automatically run until the desired consistency is achieved (typically 15 to 60 minutes, depending on ingredients).
5. Dispense: Once complete, place a cup under the spout and pull the handle to dispense your frozen drink.

5.2. RapidChill Technology

The RapidChill Technology employs a two-part system where the auger spins around a cooling cylinder. This process freezes liquids quickly and evenly, eliminating the need for pre-chilling or adding ice, and prevents dilution. The machine can maintain drinks in a frozen state for up to 12 hours.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Ninja SLUSHi machine.

6.1. Daily Cleaning

1. Rinse Cycle: After each use, pour water into the vessel up to the MIN FILL line and press the "RINSE" button on the control panel. This will circulate water to clean the internal components.
2. Disassemble: Unplug the machine. Remove the vessel, auger, condensation catch, 2-part drip tray, and spout shroud.
3. Wash: All removable parts are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, wash them by hand with warm, soapy water.
4. Wipe Base: Wipe the machine base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
5. Dry and Reassemble: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the machine.
