Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your JVC HAS59WA headphones. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours and provides up to 50 hours of playback time.

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the headphones.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off once fully charged.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

The headphones support Bluetooth 5.3 for stable wireless connection and multipoint connectivity for seamless switching between two devices.

  1. Power On: Press and hold the Power button on the headphones until the indicator light flashes blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
  2. Enable Bluetooth: On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth.
  3. Select Device: Search for 'JVC HAS59WA' in the list of available Bluetooth devices and select it to pair.
  4. Confirmation: Once paired, the indicator light will flash blue slowly, and you may hear an audible confirmation.
  5. Multipoint Connection: To connect a second device, disable Bluetooth on the first device temporarily, put the headphones back into pairing mode, and connect to the second device. Then, re-enable Bluetooth on the first device. The headphones will maintain connection with both.

3. App Equalizer (EQ) Setup

Customize your audio experience using the JVC Headphones app.

2. Wired Connection

For situations where wireless connection is not preferred or battery is low, you can use the included 3.5mm audio cable.

  1. Plug one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the headphone's audio jack.
  2. Plug the other end into your audio source's 3.5mm jack.
  3. The headphones will automatically switch to wired mode.
