3. Setup and Fitting
3.1. Helmet Adjustment
Ensure the helmet fits securely and comfortably. The helmet features an adjustable dial at the rear to customize the fit for head circumferences between 57-61 cm (22.4-24 inches).
- Place the helmet on your head, ensuring it sits level and covers your forehead.
- Turn the adjustable dial clockwise to tighten the fit until snug, but not uncomfortably tight.
- Turn the dial counter-clockwise to loosen the fit.

3.2. Magnetic Buckle
The helmet is equipped with a magnetic buckle for quick and secure fastening. To fasten, bring the two buckle parts close together; they will snap into place magnetically. To release, slide the buckle parts apart.

3.3. Charging the Helmet
The helmet's integrated lights are powered by a rechargeable battery. Use the provided USB Type-C cable to charge the helmet. The charging port is located at the bottom rear of the helmet, beneath a weather-proof cover.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Powering On/Off and Tail Light Modes
To power on the helmet's tail lights, press and hold the power button located at the rear of the helmet for 3 seconds. Short presses will cycle through the five available tail light modes:
- Steady Red
- Slow Flash Red
- Breathing Red
- Fast Flash Red
- Double Flash Yellow (Hazard)
The helmet will remember the last selected mode when powered off and on again.

4.2. Remote Control for Turn Signals
The included remote control allows for easy activation of turn signals and cycling through tail light modes while riding. Mount the remote control on your bicycle's handlebars for convenient access.
- Press the "L" button for a left turn signal.
- Press the "R" button for a right turn signal.
- Press the "M" button to cycle through the tail light modes.
Activating a turn signal will temporarily override the current tail light mode. The turn signal will flash for a set duration before returning to the previous tail light mode.

5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning
- Clean the helmet shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- The inner padding can be removed and hand-washed with mild soap and water, then air-dried.
5.2. Storage
Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not store the helmet near heat sources or corrosive materials.
5.3. Battery Care
To prolong battery life, charge the helmet regularly, even if not in frequent use. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your Favoto Smart Bike Helmet.
6.1. Lights Not Turning On
- Ensure the helmet battery is charged. Connect the helmet to the USB Type-C charging cable and allow sufficient time for charging.
- Press and hold the power button on the helmet for 3 seconds to activate the lights.
6.2. Remote Control Not Responding
- Ensure the helmet lights are powered on.
- Check the remote control's battery. Replace if necessary.
- To re-pair the remote control with the helmet:
- Turn on the helmet lights by holding the switch for 3 seconds.
- When the lights flash alternately (red and yellow), press any button on the remote control.
- A steady flash on the helmet indicates successful pairing.
6.3. Difficulty Accessing Charging Port
The charging port is located under a small, weather-proof rubber flap at the bottom rear of the helmet. Gently lift this flap to expose the Type-C port for charging.
