5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

1. Before first use, fully charge the hair clipper and trimmer.
2. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port at the bottom of the device.
3. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., laptop, power bank, USB wall adapter).
4. The LED display will indicate the charging status. The clipper takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge, and the trimmer takes approximately 2.5 hours.
5. Once fully charged, the display will show 100%. Disconnect the charger.

5.2 Attaching Guide Combs

1. Ensure the device is turned off before attaching or removing guide combs.
2. Select the desired guide comb for your preferred hair length.
3. Align the comb with the blade and push it firmly until it clicks into place.
4. To remove, gently pull the comb away from the blade.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 General Hair Cutting (Clipper KM-1680)

1. Ensure hair is clean and dry.
2. Attach the appropriate guide comb (1.5mm, 3mm, 4.5mm, 6mm, 9mm, or 12mm).
3. Turn on the clipper using the power button.
4. Hold the clipper with the blade teeth pointing upwards and flat against the head.
5. Move the clipper slowly against the direction of hair growth.
6. For blending, use a larger comb length first, then gradually switch to shorter lengths.

6.2 Detailing and Trimming (Trimmer KM-1737)

1. For precise lines and edges, use the trimmer without a guide comb.
2. For beard trimming or shorter styles, attach the desired guide comb (1mm, 2mm, 3mm, or 4mm).
3. Turn on the trimmer.
4. Hold the trimmer at an angle and gently move it along the desired area to create clean lines or trim hair.

7.1 Cleaning the Blades

1. After each use, turn off and unplug the device.
2. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any loose hair from the blades.
3. The detachable blades can be rinsed under running water. Ensure the main body of the device does not get wet as it is not waterproof.
