    • Press the "CLEAN" button on the control panel. The machine will initiate a 15-minute self-cleaning cycle.
    • After the cycle, drain the water from the reservoir using the drainage hose.
  2. Manual Cleaning:
    • Unplug the ice maker before cleaning.
    • Remove the ice basket and drip tray. Wash them with mild detergent and warm water, then rinse thoroughly.
    • Wipe the interior of the water reservoir and ice storage area with a soft cloth dampened with a mild cleaning solution (e.g., vinegar and water). Rinse thoroughly by running a few cycles with clean water and draining.
    • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
    • Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling and plugging in the unit.
  3. Descaling:
    • Hard water can affect ice maker performance. Descale the unit monthly in moderately hard water areas, or every two to three weeks in hard to very hard water areas.
    • Use a descaling solution suitable for ice makers or a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio).
    • Follow the descaling product's instructions or run the self-cleaning cycle with the vinegar solution, then rinse thoroughly with several cycles of clean water.
