Safety Information
Always read and understand the entire instruction manual before operating the generator. Failure to follow instructions can result in serious injury or death. Ensure the generator is operated in a well-ventilated area to prevent carbon monoxide buildup. The built-in CO sensor will monitor carbon monoxide levels and shut down the engine if dangerous levels are detected.

Adding Engine Oil
The generator is shipped without engine oil. Before starting, add 4-stroke small engine oil (SAE 10W-30 is recommended for general use) to the engine crankcase using the provided oil funnel. The engine oil capacity is 500cc. Check the oil level using the dipstick; the oil should be at the full mark. Running the generator without sufficient oil will cause severe engine damage.
Battery Connection
The battery for the electric start system comes disconnected for safety during shipping. Connect the positive (+) and negative (-) battery terminals. The battery will automatically recharge when the generator is running. If the generator is unused for extended periods and the battery drains, it may need to be recharged using an external battery charger (not included).
Operating Instructions
Fueling the Generator
This tri-fuel generator can operate on gasoline, LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas), or natural gas. Select the desired fuel type using the fuel selector switch on the control panel.
- Gasoline: Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. The fuel tank has a capacity of 9.2 gallons (35 L).
- LPG: Connect the LPG hose from a propane tank to the generator's propane inlet. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.
- Natural Gas: Connect the natural gas line to the generator's natural gas inlet.

Figure 3: The control panel features multiple outlets, including 2x AC120V 20A household outlets and 1x AC120/240V 50A heavy-duty outlet.
Starting Procedures
Ensure the generator is placed on a level surface and at least 25 feet away from any buildings to prevent carbon monoxide buildup.
- Electric Start: Turn the fuel valve to the ON position. Set the fuel selector switch to the desired fuel type (Gasoline, LPG, or Natural Gas). Ensure the main circuit breaker is in the OFF position. Press and hold the 'Engine Start/Stop' button or use the remote key fob to start the engine.
- Manual Start: If the electric start fails or the battery is drained, you can use the pull start handle. Ensure the fuel valve is ON and the fuel selector is set. Pull the recoil handle firmly until the engine starts.
Control Panel Overview
The control panel includes:
- Fuel Selector Switch: To choose between Gasoline, LPG, or Natural Gas.
- Engine Start/Stop Button: For electric starting and stopping the generator.
- Battery Indicator: Shows the battery status.
- Smart Switch Ready Port: For connecting to an automatic transfer switch.
- Data Meter: Displays voltage, frequency, and run hours.
- Circuit Breakers: Protects the generator from overload.
- AC Outlets: Includes 2x AC120V 20A, 1x AC120/240V 30A, and 1x AC120/240V 50A outlets.
- CO Sensor: Monitors carbon monoxide levels.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of your generator. Refer to the user manual for a detailed maintenance schedule.
- Engine Oil: Check the engine oil level before each use. Change the oil after the first 8 hours of operation, then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
- Air Filter: Inspect the air filter regularly, especially in dusty conditions. Clean or replace as needed.
- Spark Plug: Inspect and clean the spark plug every 100 hours or annually. Replace if necessary.
- Fuel Filter: Inspect the fuel filter for debris and replace if clogged.
Storage
For long-term storage (more than 30 days), it is recommended to drain the gasoline from the fuel tank and carburetor to prevent fuel degradation issues. If using propane or natural gas, ensure the fuel lines are disconnected and valves are closed. Store the generator in a clean, dry place.
Troubleshooting
If the generator encounters issues, consult the troubleshooting section of the user manual. Common issues may include:
- Engine not starting: Check fuel level, oil level, battery connection, spark plug, and choke position.
- No power output: Check circuit breakers, ensure the generator is not overloaded, and verify all connections.
- CO sensor activation: Move the generator to a well-ventilated area. The engine will shut down for 5 minutes if dangerous CO levels are detected.
