The Kidamento Instant Print Digital Camera Model P2 offers a unique blend of digital photography and instant thermal printing. Setup

1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure the following items are present:

  • Thermal Print Paper Roll (pre-installed or included separately)

2. Charging the Camera

Connect the camera to a power source using the provided USB-C cable. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours and provides up to 6 hours of average use.

3. Attaching the Hand Strap

Thread the hand strap through the designated loop on the camera body to prevent accidental drops. Ensure it is securely fastened.

4. Loading Print Paper

The camera uses ink-free thermal paper. Open the paper compartment, insert a new roll of thermal paper with the printing side facing the lens, and close the compartment. Ensure the paper feeds smoothly.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually located on the side or top) for a few seconds to turn the camera on or off. The 2.4-inch HD screen will display the main interface.

3. Taking Photos and Recording Videos

Use the navigation buttons to select between photo and video modes. Press the shutter button to capture a 48MP photo or start/stop 1080p video recording. The camera features a selfie lens for self-portraits.

4. Printing Photos

After capturing a photo, you can choose to print it instantly. The camera also allows reprinting from the digital album stored on the 32GB SD card.

5. Creative Modes and Filters

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Camera

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body and screen. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, which can damage the camera's surface or internal components.

2. Paper Replacement

When the print paper runs out, replace it with Kidamento-compatible thermal paper rolls. Ensure the new roll is inserted correctly to avoid printing issues.

3. Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the camera frequently. Charge the camera regularly, even if not in use for extended periods. Store the camera in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions

  • Camera not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the camera to a power source using the USB-C cable and try again.
  • Poor print quality: Check if the thermal paper is loaded correctly with the printing side facing the lens. Ensure the paper roll is not damaged. Adjust print density settings in the camera menu.
  • Memory card error: Ensure the 32GB SD card is properly inserted. If the issue persists, try reformatting the card (this will erase all data) or using a different compatible SD card.
  • Camera freezes: If the camera becomes unresponsive, press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds to force a restart.
