5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
The Tagigo Tracker is powered by a standard CR2032 coin cell battery, which is replaceable. When the battery level is low, you will receive a notification via Google's Find Hub.
- Locate the small groove or opening on the side or back of the Tagigo Tracker.
- Carefully use a small, flat tool (like a coin or a small screwdriver) to gently pry open the tracker casing.
- Remove the old CR2032 battery.
- Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Align the two halves of the tracker and press firmly until they click securely into place, ensuring a tight seal for waterproofing.
5.2 Waterproofing (IP68)
The Tagigo Tracker boasts an IP68 waterproof rating, meaning it is fully protected against dust ingress and can withstand continuous immersion in water up to a specified depth (typically 1.5 meters for 30 minutes). To maintain this rating, ensure the tracker casing is securely closed after any battery replacement or inspection.
