3. Setup Guide

The Tagigo Tracker is designed for ease of use, requiring no dedicated application. It integrates directly with your Android device's native tracking capabilities via Google's Find Hub.

1. Activate the Tracker: Ensure the CR2032 battery is correctly installed. If not pre-installed, open the tracker (refer to Section 5: Maintenance for battery replacement) and insert the battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
2. Enable Google's Find Hub: On your Android device, navigate to your device settings and ensure Google's Find Hub (or equivalent native tracking service) is enabled and configured.
3. Pairing: Follow the on-screen instructions within Google's Find Hub to add a new device. The Tagigo Tracker should be discoverable when in close proximity to your Android device.
4. Attach to Items: Once paired, attach the Tagigo Tracker to any item you wish to track, such as keys, bags, or luggage, using the integrated keyring hole.

4. Operating Instructions

Once your Tagigo Tracker is set up, you can utilize its features through Google's Find Hub on your Android device.

4.1 Locating Items

• View on Map: Open Google's Find Hub on your Android device to see the last known location of your Tagigo Tracker on a map.
• Play Sound: If your item is nearby, select the Tagigo Tracker in the Find Hub app and activate the "Play Sound" feature. The tracker will emit a loud alert sound to help you pinpoint its exact location.

4.2 Practical Applications

• Everyday Items: Attach the Tagigo Tracker to wallets, luggage, backpacks, or other frequently misplaced items.
• Finding Lost Items: If an item is lost, use Google's Find Hub to see its last recorded location. If someone finds your item, they can use the tracker to contact you if you've enabled that feature in the Find Hub.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

The Tagigo Tracker is powered by a standard CR2032 coin cell battery, which is replaceable. When the battery level is low, you will receive a notification via Google's Find Hub.

1. Locate the small groove or opening on the side or back of the Tagigo Tracker.
2. Carefully use a small, flat tool (like a coin or a small screwdriver) to gently pry open the tracker casing.
3. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
4. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
5. Align the two halves of the tracker and press firmly until they click securely into place, ensuring a tight seal for waterproofing.

5.2 Waterproofing (IP68)

The Tagigo Tracker boasts an IP68 waterproof rating, meaning it is fully protected against dust ingress and can withstand continuous immersion in water up to a specified depth (typically 1.5 meters for 30 minutes). To maintain this rating, ensure the tracker casing is securely closed after any battery replacement or inspection.

• Tracker Not Found:
  • Ensure the tracker's battery is not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  • Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your Android device.
  • Make sure Google's Find Hub is enabled and has necessary permissions.
  • Bring the tracker closer to your Android device to re-establish connection.
• Alert Sound Not Working:
