  • Only use the enclosure with real golf balls and appropriate golf clubs.
  • Verify all frame connections are secure before each use.

Setup Instructions

Assembly typically takes 30 minutes or less with two people. Follow these steps for proper installation:

  1. Prepare the Area: Clear the designated space, ensuring it meets the recommended room size requirements. A minimum 9 ft ceiling height is recommended.
  2. Assemble the Frame: Connect the powder-coated steel frame components according to the included diagrams. Ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Install Foam Padding: Apply the foam padding to the interior of the frame to minimize ball rebound and protect the frame.
  4. Attach Enclosure Panels: Secure the side and top enclosure panels to the frame.
  5. Hang the Impact Screen: Carefully hang the HD impact screen, ensuring it is taut and evenly distributed across the frame. Use the provided bungee cords or attachment points to secure it.
  6. Position Accessories: Place your launch monitor, projector, and hitting mat in their optimal positions. Refer to your launch monitor's manual for specific distance requirements from the screen. Ensure a safe distance to prevent club contact with the enclosure.

Operating Instructions

The GoSports Golf Simulator Enclosure is designed to integrate with your existing launch monitor and projector setup. It provides a dedicated space for an immersive golf simulation experience.

  1. Connect Equipment: Ensure your launch monitor and projector are properly connected to your computer or gaming device and powered on.
  2. Calibrate Projector: Adjust your projector to display the golf simulation software clearly and fully on the HD impact screen. The enclosure is designed for a 4:3 aspect ratio for optimal display.
  3. Calibrate Launch Monitor: Follow the specific calibration instructions for your launch monitor to ensure accurate ball and club data.
  4. Begin Play: Once all equipment is calibrated, you can begin your golf simulation session. Hit golf balls directly into the impact screen. The screen is reinforced to withstand impacts from real golf balls at all swing speeds.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the life of your GoSports Golf Simulator Enclosure.

  • Screen Cleaning: The HD impact screen can be gently cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the screen surface.
  • Frame Inspection: Periodically check the steel frame for any loose connections, rust, or damage. Tighten any loose bolts and address rust promptly.
  • Padding Check: Ensure the foam padding remains securely in place and is not torn or degraded. Replace if necessary to maintain rebound minimization.
  • Storage: If disassembling for storage, ensure all components are clean and dry. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your GoSports Golf Simulator Enclosure, consider the following:

  • Screen Sagging: If the impact screen appears loose or sags, re-check the tension of the bungee cords or attachment points. Ensure it is evenly stretched.
  • Ball Rebound: Excessive ball rebound may indicate that the foam padding is not correctly installed or has shifted. Verify padding placement and integrity.
  • Frame Instability: Check all frame connections to ensure they are fully tightened. Ensure the enclosure is placed on a flat, stable surface.
  • Image Distortion: If the projected image is distorted or does not fit the screen, adjust your projector's settings (keystone correction, zoom, focus) and position.
