1. Introduction

The Anykit AD430/AN400 Borescope Inspection Camera is an advanced tool designed for detailed visual inspection in hard-to-reach areas. It features a 5.5mm high-precision camera with 210° articulation, controlled by a precision joystick. 3. Setup

1. Charge the Device: Ensure the borescope handle's internal battery is fully charged using a standard USB charger (not included) and the provided USB-C cable. The 3000mAh rechargeable battery supports up to 4.3 hours of work.
2. Install the App: Download and install the "Super Camera" application on your smartphone. This app is required to view the camera feed and control functions.
3. Mount Your Smartphone: Extend the phone clamp on the borescope handle and securely place your smartphone into the clamp.

4. Connect Your Smartphone: Use the appropriate cable (USB-C to USB-C for Android or USB-C to Lightning for Apple) to connect the borescope handle to your smartphone's charging port.
5. Launch the App: Open the "Super Camera" app. The app should automatically detect the borescope and display the camera feed. Grant any necessary permissions.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Camera Articulation

The borescope features a 210° articulating camera probe, allowing you to adjust the viewing angle. Use the joystick control on the handle to maneuver the camera tip. This flexibility is crucial for navigating tight spaces and achieving optimal viewing angles.

4.2 Illumination and Image Quality

The camera probe is equipped with 8 adjustable LED lights to illuminate dark or moist environments. The 4.3-inch IPS display provides a 1920x1080P high-resolution view, ensuring clear and vivid visuals.

• Adjusting LED Brightness: Within the "Super Camera" app, locate the brightness control (often represented by a light bulb icon or similar) to adjust the intensity of the LED lights.
• Zoom Function: The app allows for 1.0x, 1.3x, or 1.5x zoom to get closer views of details.
• Image Flip: You can flip the image 180° within the app for better orientation, especially when navigating complex spaces.

4.3 Photo and Video Recording

The "Super Camera" app enables you to capture still images and record videos directly to the included 8GB TF card or your smartphone's storage.

• Switch Modes: Toggle between photo and video modes within the app interface.
• Capture: Press the designated button in the app to take a photo or start/stop video recording.

4.4 Temperature Monitoring

The snake camera lens includes a temperature sensor that provides real-time temperature display and an automatic overheat alert. This feature protects the borescope during long inspections in high-heat areas such as automotive exhausts or industrial machines.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning the Probe: The camera probe is IP67 waterproof. After use, especially in dirty or moist environments, gently wipe the probe with a damp cloth. For stubborn grime, use a mild cleaning solution and ensure it is thoroughly dried before storage.

• Battery Care: Recharge the 3000mAh battery via the USB-C port when the battery indicator is low. Avoid fully depleting the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.
• Storage: Store the borescope and its accessories in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the camera probe is not sharply bent during storage.

6. Troubleshooting

• No Image on Screen:
  • Ensure the borescope is properly connected to your smartphone via the correct USB cable.
  • Verify that the "Super Camera" app is open and has all necessary permissions granted.
  • Check if the borescope's battery is charged.
  • Try unplugging and re-plugging the cable.
• Poor Image Quality:
  • Adjust the LED light brightness using the app controls.
  • Clean the camera lens if it appears dirty or smudged.
  • Ensure the camera is within the optimal focal range (e.g., Front Camera: 1.18-3.93 inches / 30-100mm; Side Camera: 0.79-2.36 inches / 20-60mm, if applicable for dual lens models).
• Camera Not Articulating:
  • Check for any obstructions preventing the probe from bending.
  • Ensure the joystick control is functioning correctly and not jammed.
