Setup

1. Battery and TF Card Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.
  2. Insert the TF card with the metal contacts facing up. Push until it locks in place with a click.
  3. Insert the battery with the positive (+) and negative (-) symbols facing up, aligning with the indicators inside the compartment. Push the battery in and lock it.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Charging the Battery

Connect the camera to a power source using the provided Type C USB cable. The camera can be charged via a USB wall adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The indicator light will show charging status.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

To power on the camera, press and hold the power button (usually located on the top) for approximately 3 seconds until the screen illuminates and displays the "Welcome" message. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the screen turns off.

2. Taking Photos

In Photo Mode, frame your shot using the rear display. Press the Shutter button (located on the top) halfway to focus, then press it completely to capture the image. Ensure the camera is held steady for clear photos.

3. Zoom Function

Use the 'W' (Wide) and 'T' (Telephoto) buttons on the control panel to adjust the 18X digital zoom. Press 'T' to zoom in and 'W' to zoom out.

4. Switching Between Dual Screens (Selfie Mode)

The camera features dual screens for easy selfies and vlogging. To switch from the rear display to the front display, long-press the "OK" button on the control panel. To return to the rear display, long-press the "OK" button again.

5. Mode Selection

Press the 'M' (Mode) button to access the mode selection menu. Use the directional buttons to navigate and the 'OK' button to select from options such as Photo Mode, Record Mode, Time-lapse, Slow-motion, Photo Timer, and Playback.

6. Flashlight

The camera is equipped with a flashlight for low-light conditions. Activate or deactivate it via the settings menu or a dedicated button (refer to the camera's physical buttons for exact location, often near the lens or control panel).

7. Connecting to a Computer (Mac Example)

To view photos and videos on your computer:

  1. Connect the camera to your computer using the USB cable.
  2. On the camera screen, select "Mass Storage Mode" and press the OK key.
  3. A removable disk icon (e.g., "NO NAME") will appear on your computer screen. Double-click it to open.
  4. Folders containing your photos and videos (e.g., "photo", "video") will appear. You can now access and transfer your files.

8. Turning Off Camera Sound

To disable the shutter sound and key tones:

  1. Press the Menu key.
  2. Navigate to the settings menu (often represented by a gear icon).
  3. Scroll down to find "Shutter sound" and uncheck it.
  4. Optionally, uncheck "Key Tone" to silence button presses.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the camera body and lens. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the camera in the included camera bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: Remove batteries if the camera will not be used for an extended period. Recharge batteries regularly to maintain their lifespan.
  • TF Card: Periodically back up your photos and videos from the TF card to a computer or external storage device to prevent data loss.

Troubleshooting

Photos are blurry.Hold the camera steady when taking pictures. Ensure there is adequate lighting. Check focus settings.

TF card error.Reinsert the TF card. If the issue persists, try formatting the card (this will erase all data) or use a different TF card.
