  • FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY: Never operate this appliance indoors or in an enclosed area. Ensure adequate ventilation.
  • PROPANE GAS: This grill is designed for use with a standard 1 lb. propane cylinder. Always connect and disconnect the propane cylinder outdoors and away from ignition sources.
  • LEAK CHECK: Before first use and after every cylinder change, perform a leak check. Apply a soapy water solution to all gas connections. Bubbles indicate a leak. Do not use the grill if a leak is detected.
  • CLEARANCE: Maintain a minimum distance of 3 feet (0.9 meters) from combustible materials (e.g., walls, fences, trees).
  • CHILDREN AND PETS: Keep children and pets away from the grill at all times, especially during operation.
  • STABILITY: Ensure the grill is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.
  • HOT SURFACES: The grill surfaces become extremely hot during use. Use heat-resistant gloves and appropriate tools.

5. Setup

Before operating your grill, ensure it is set up correctly and safely.

  1. Unfold the Grill: Place the grill on a firm, level outdoor surface. Release the locking mechanisms and unfold the cart until it is fully extended and stable.
  2. Connect Propane Cylinder: Ensure the grill's control knob is in the "OFF" position. Screw a 1 lb. propane cylinder onto the regulator connection until hand-tight. Do not overtighten.
  3. Perform Leak Check: Mix a solution of equal parts liquid dish soap and water. With the propane cylinder connected and the grill valve closed, open the cylinder valve. Apply the soapy solution to all gas connections. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Close the cylinder valve immediately and tighten connections. Repeat the leak check. If leaks persist, do not use the grill and contact customer support.

6. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective grilling:

  1. Pre-heating: Open the lid. Ensure the propane cylinder is connected and its valve is open. Turn the control knob to the "HIGH" position. Press and hold the push-button igniter until the burner lights. Once lit, close the lid and allow the grill to preheat for 10-15 minutes. The built-in thermometer on the porcelain-enameled lid will indicate the internal temperature.
  2. Temperature Control: Adjust the control knob to achieve your desired cooking temperature. The 13,000 BTU burner provides strong, consistent heat for efficient searing and steady grilling.
  3. Cooking: Place food on the 360 sq. inch cast iron grates. These grates ensure even heat distribution and help create perfect grill marks. The spacious cooking area is suitable for various foods, from burgers and steaks to full meals.
  4. Using the Side Table: Utilize the integrated side table for convenient food preparation, holding utensils, or serving cooked items.
  5. Shutting Down: When finished cooking, turn the control knob to the "OFF" position. Close the valve on the propane cylinder. Allow the grill to cool completely before cleaning or storing.

9. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your grill, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • Burner Not Lighting:
    • Check if the propane cylinder is empty or improperly connected.
    • Ensure the cylinder valve is fully open.
    • Verify the igniter is sparking. If not, check the igniter electrode and wire connections.
    • Perform a leak check.
  • Low Heat or Uneven Flame:
    • Check for low propane supply.
    • Inspect the burner ports for blockages and clean if necessary.
    • Ensure the regulator is not in bypass mode (often caused by opening the cylinder valve too quickly). Close all valves, wait 30 seconds, then slowly open the cylinder valve fully, then open the grill control knob.
  • Grease Fire:
    • Immediately turn off the gas supply.
    • Keep the lid closed to smother the flames.
    • Do NOT use water to extinguish a grease fire.
    • Clean the grease tray regularly to prevent recurrence.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact Feasto customer support.
