Setup
1. Installation Overview
The PHEZEN car stereo is designed to fit Ford Fusion models from 2006-2009. Professional installation is recommended. Ensure the vehicle's power is disconnected before beginning installation. Refer to your vehicle's specific disassembly instructions for removing the factory radio.

2. Backup Camera Format and Resolution Setup
To configure the backup camera settings:
- Tap the settings icon on the main screen to open the settings menu.
- Select "Factory Settings" and enter the password "8888".
- Navigate to "Protocol Parameter Settings".
- Select "Reverse video resolution settings".
- Choose the correct setting based on your camera type:
- For OEM cameras, select NTSC/PAL.
- For the included camera, keep the default AHD/25.

3. Bluetooth and ZLINK Connection
This section covers connecting your smartphone via Bluetooth and setting up the ZLINK feature for CarPlay/Android Auto.
- Bluetooth Connection:
- On the car stereo, navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
- On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "CarBT" from the list of devices on your phone.
- Enter the PIN "0000" if prompted.
- Once connected, "phone audio" and "media audio" should appear under paired devices on the car stereo. If not, restart Bluetooth on both devices.
- ZLINK Connection (for CarPlay/Android Auto):
- Ensure your phone is connected via Bluetooth.
- On the car stereo, open the "ZLINK" application.
- The system will attempt to connect to your phone for CarPlay or Android Auto.
- If the connection is not successful, proceed to the manual Wi-Fi connection steps below.
- Manual Wi-Fi Connection (if ZLINK fails):
- On the car stereo, go to "Android Settings" and then "Network & Internet".
- Enable "Wi-Fi hotspot" and configure its settings (name and password).
- On your smartphone, connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot created by the car stereo.
- Once connected, delete the Wi-Fi history record on the car stereo (if applicable) and then re-open the ZLINK application.

4. Screen Calibration
If the touchscreen response is inaccurate, you may need to calibrate it:
- Press the screen with five fingers simultaneously to enter calibration mode.
- Click the corresponding icons (targets) on the screen as they appear to test touch accuracy.
- Set the corresponding buttons on the left side of the screen (e.g., power, home, back, volume up/down) by tapping them.
- Confirm the settings to complete calibration.
