3. Setup and Assembly
The DUMOS Electric Fireplace Heater requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your unit for use:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Attach Legs: Invert the main fireplace unit. Align each of the four legs with the designated mounting points on the bottom of the unit. Secure each leg using the provided mounting hardware (screws). Ensure all screws are tightened firmly to provide stability.
- Positioning: Place the assembled fireplace heater on a stable, level surface. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) away from any walls, furniture, curtains, or other combustible materials. Do not place it directly under a wall-mounted television or other heat-sensitive electronics.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC outlet. Ensure the outlet is not shared with other high-wattage appliances.

4. Operating Instructions
The DUMOS Electric Fireplace Heater can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.
4.1 Control Panel and Remote Control Overview

The remote control provides convenient access to all functions. Ensure the remote has working batteries (not included, typically AAA).
- Power Button: Turns the unit ON or OFF.
- Flame Button: Cycles through flame brightness levels.
- Timer Button: Activates and adjusts the 1-12 hour timer.
- Up/Down Buttons: Adjust temperature settings or timer duration.

4.2 Initial Power On

4.4 Setting the Heat Output

- Press the 'Heater' button on the remote or control panel to activate the heating function.
- Use the 'Up' and 'Down' buttons to adjust the desired temperature. The temperature range is typically 59°F to 95°F.
- The heater operates at 750W or 1500W, automatically adjusting based on the selected temperature and room conditions.

4.5 Using the 12-Hour Timer
The integrated timer allows for automatic shut-off, promoting energy efficiency.
- Press the 'Timer' button on the remote or control panel.
- Use the 'Up' and 'Down' buttons to set the desired operating duration, from 1 to 12 hours.
- The unit will automatically turn off after the set time has elapsed.

5. Maintenance
