Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation, installation, and maintenance of your ICEPURE YD-ZB006 Water Dispenser. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance and retain it for future reference.

Important Safety Information

To reduce the risk of injury or property damage, basic safety precautions must be followed when using this appliance. Read all instructions before use.

• Always unplug the water dispenser before servicing.
• The system operating temperature range is 40°F – 100°F (4°C – 38°C).
• The system must be placed on a flat surface and not mounted on a wall.
• If the system has been resting on its side, place it in an upright position for 12 hours before turning it on.
• Leave a minimum of 2 inches (5 cm) around the back and sides of the dispenser for proper system ventilation.
• Always wait 3 minutes before restarting the system after shutting it down.
• Exercise caution with hot water. Never allow children to dispense hot water without adult supervision.

Setup and Installation

1. Initial Placement

Choose a suitable location for the dispenser, ensuring it is on a flat, stable surface and at least 2 inches away from walls for proper ventilation. If the unit was transported on its side, allow it to stand upright for 12 hours before plugging it in.

2. Drip Tray Installation

Place the removable drip tray and its grill onto the designated slot on the front door of the dispenser.

3. Feed Water Adapter Connection

The ICEPURE YD-ZB006 is a bottleless water dispenser and must be connected to a cold water line. The included feed water adapter fits common 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch pipes. If your pipe size differs, a converter will be required (not included).

1. Ensure the cold water supply valve is in the OFF position.
2. Unscrew the connector pipe from the cold water supply valve. Be prepared to catch any excess water with a towel.
3. Install the feed water adapter to the cold water supply valve and tighten it with a wrench. Ensure the O-ring is properly seated to prevent leaks.
4. Reinstall the connector pipe to the feed water adapter and tighten it with a wrench.
5. Turn the feed water valve to the OFF position.

4. System Water Line Connection

1. Insert the 1/4 inch tubing from the feed water adapter 1/2 inch deep into the quick connect fitting at the back of the system's water inlet.
2. Insert a locking clip to secure the tubing in place.
3. Turn on the cold water supply valve and the feed water valve, ensuring no leaks from the connectors.

5. Power Connection and Initial Flush

1. Plug the main power supply into a power socket. Slight vibrations are normal as the water pump starts.
2. Remove the drain port cap and plug at the back of the system. Use a bucket to catch the water.
3. Let the water run for 30 minutes to flush the system and filters. This step is recommended each time filters are replaced.
4. Shut off the system water inlet valve (located below the filters inside the front door) when flushing is complete.
5. Reinstall the drain port cap and plug.
6. Turn on the system water inlet valve to fill the system.

Installation is now complete.

Operating Instructions

The ICEPURE YD-ZB006 Water Dispenser offers cold, hot, and room temperature water. Filters are pre-installed in the system.

1. Temperature Control

• Cold Water Temperature: Default is 39°F to 46°F (4°C to 8°C). It can be adjusted using the control dial with a screwdriver. Cold water is always on when the power is on.
• Hot Water Temperature: Can reach up to 200°F (93°C) and is non-adjustable. Use the On/Off switch or button to activate.

Caution: Be cautious and never let children dispense hot water without adult supervision.

2. Dispensing Water

• Hot Water: Press the child safety lock in, then press down the hot water dispense button.
• Cold Water: Press down the cold water dispense button.
• Room Temperature Water: Press down the middle dispense button.

3. LED Indicators

• Red LED Indicator: Flashing indicates water is being heated. Solid indicates water is ready to dispense.
• Blue LED Indicator: Flashing indicates water is being cooled. Solid indicates water is ready to dispense.
• Yellow LED Indicator: Flashing indicates water is being filled. Solid indicates water level is good.

Maintenance and Filter Replacement

Each filter has its own service life. It is essential to replace filters on schedule to maintain the refreshing taste and quality of the water.

• Sediment Filter (Model: FPDS): Replace every 3-6 months.
• Compound Filter (Model: FGKDS): Replace every 6-12 months.
• Carbon Block Filter (Model: FCDS): Replace every 6-12 months.
• Post Carbon Filter (Model: FTDS): Replace every 6-12 months.

Filter Replacement Procedure

1. Unplug the power supply and shut off the system water inlet valve (below the filters inside the front door).
2. Remove the drain port cap and plug from the back of the system. Use a bucket to catch the remaining water.
3. Left twist the old filters to unscrew them. Be prepared to catch any excess water from the pipe with a towel.
4. Unwrap and install the new filters by right twisting them to screw them on.
5. Plug in the system power supply and turn on the system water inlet valve to flush the new filters. Use a bucket to catch water from the drain port. Please be cautious, as the drain water may be hot. Let the water run for 30 minutes to flush the filters.
6. Shut off the system water inlet valve when flushing is complete. Reinstall the drain port cap and plug.
7. Turn on the system water inlet valve to fill the system.

Filter replacement is now complete.
