Setup

  1. Placement: Position the active and passive speakers on stable surfaces, ensuring adequate space for sound projection and ventilation.
  2. Connect Passive Speaker: Use the provided speaker cable to connect the AUDIO OUTPUT terminals on the active speaker's rear panel to the input terminals on the passive speaker. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the POWER Input on the active speaker's rear panel, then plug the other end into a suitable mains power outlet.
  4. Initial Power On: Ensure all volume controls are set to minimum before switching the POWER switch to the "ON" position.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

To power on the system, ensure the master volume is low, then flip the POWER switch on the rear panel to "ON". To power off, flip the switch to "OFF".

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Press the "INPUT" button on the control panel or remote until "BT" or "Bluetooth" mode is selected.
  2. On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Fenton SPK-108" from the list of devices.
  4. Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly to the speakers.

USB/SD Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive or SD card into the corresponding slot on the control panel.
  2. The speaker system will automatically switch to USB/SD mode and begin playing compatible audio files. If not, press the "INPUT" button to select USB/SD mode.
  3. Use the "NEXT", "PREV", and "PLAY/PAUSE" buttons to control playback.

AUX Input

Connect an external audio device (e.g., CD player, laptop) to the RCA AUDIO INPUT on the rear panel using an RCA cable. Select "AUX" input mode using the "INPUT" button.

Microphone Input

Connect up to two microphones to the 6.3mm MIC INPUTs on the front panel. Adjust the "MIC VOLUME" and "MIC ECHO" knobs to achieve the desired vocal effect. The "BASS" and "TREBLE" controls will affect all audio, including microphone input.

Remote Control
