3. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. It is recommended to have the system installed by a qualified technician if you are unfamiliar with motorcycle electrical systems.
3.1 Wiring Diagram
Refer to the following diagram for the correct connection of all components to your motorcycle's electrical system.

Figure 3.1: General installation layout on a motorcycle.

Figure 3.2: Electrical wiring connections for the system.
3.2 Side Camera Turn Signal Connection
For the electronic rearview mirror function, connect the yellow wires of the side cameras as follows:
- The right camera's yellow wire connects to the positive pole of the right turn signal lamp.
- The left camera's yellow wire connects to the positive pole of the left turn signal lamp.
- An additional yellow wire can be connected to the positive pole of the left/right turn light in front of the motorcycle, or to the positive pole of the left/right turn light behind the motorcycle.
When a turn signal is activated, the display screen will automatically switch to the corresponding camera view and show parking auxiliary lines.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
The system is designed for automatic operation. After the motorcycle ignition is turned on, the recorder will automatically power on and begin recording. When the motorcycle power is turned off, the recorder will automatically shut down.
4.2 Display and Camera Views
The 4-inch IPS display provides a high-definition picture. The system includes a 1080P front camera and two 720P side cameras (left and right). These cameras provide a 130° wide-angle view, covering multiple lanes and reducing blind spots.

4.3 Wired Controller Functions
The wired controller provides quick access to various functions:
- Up Button: Switch between split screen and full screen display.
- Blue Light: Indicates GPS status.
- OK Button: Stop recording; Enter the menu page.
- Red Light: Indicates recording status.
- Down Button: Turn off the microphone.
- Function Button (Long Press): Enter emergency recording mode; Enter auxiliary driving mode.

4.4 Recording Features
The F3M dash camera includes several recording functionalities:
- Loop Recording: When the memory card is full, the system automatically overwrites the oldest files to continue recording.
- Emergency Recording (G-Sensor): The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or vibrations. When triggered, it automatically enters emergency recording mode, saving the video file to prevent it from being overwritten.

Figure 4.5: Loop recording and G-sensor functionality.
4.5 WiFi Functionality
The built-in WiFi module allows you to connect the recorder to your mobile phone via the "WiFi Camera" app. Through the app, you can:
- View real-time video feeds.
- Download and edit recorded videos directly on your phone without removing the SD card.
- View the driving track of recorded videos.

Figure 4.7: GPS tracking via mobile app and computer software.
4.6 GPS Tracker and TPMS
The integrated GPS module allows you to record driving routes, longitude, latitude, altitude, and atmospheric pressure. You can view this data through the mobile app ("WiFi Camera") or computer software ("DV Player").
The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) continuously checks your motorcycle's tire pressure and temperature. An alarm will sound if the tire pressure or temperature exceeds predefined thresholds.

Figure 4.8: Real-time TPMS display.
The system also includes a built-in temperature sensor for ambient temperature display.

Figure 4.9: Built-in temperature sensor display.
An overspeed warning feature can alert you if your driving speed exceeds a set limit.

Figure 4.10: Overspeed warning notification.
4.7 Auxiliary Display Mode
To access the auxiliary display mode, long-press the down button on the wired controller. This mode provides various informational interfaces, including:
- Current vehicle speed.
- Tire pressure and temperature.
- Altitude, longitude, latitude, and atmospheric pressure.
- Short-term memory driving speed and mileage.
- Motorcycle battery voltage.
- Time and date.

4.8 Parking Monitoring
When enabled, the parking monitoring feature automatically activates and records for 30 seconds if the recorder detects vibration after the motorcycle power is turned off. This function requires a battery voltage of at least 11.8V and is not effective with USB power supply or electric vehicle installations.

Figure 4.12: Parking monitoring activation.
4.9 License Plate Watermark
You can add a custom license plate watermark to your recorded videos. This feature supports English letters and numbers only. Special characters are not supported. A specific TXT document upgrade may be required to enable this feature. Contact VSYSTO support for the necessary TXT files.

Figure 4.13: Custom license plate watermark example.
4.10 Type-C Interface
The host unit features a Type-C interface for convenient data transfer and power supply. You can directly connect the recorder to a computer using a Type-C cable to transfer video files without removing the SD card. It can also be powered directly by a 5V 2A power bank or charger. Note: Input voltage exceeding 5V may damage the recorder.

Figure 4.14: Type-C interface for data transfer and power.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the display and camera lenses. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- SD Card Management: Regularly format the microSD card to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. Back up important files before formatting.
- Firmware Updates: Check the VSYSTO official website periodically for firmware updates to ensure your device has the latest features and bug fixes.
- Waterproofing: The main unit, cameras, GPS, and wired controller are designed to be waterproof. However, ensure all connections are secure and covers are properly sealed after any maintenance.
6. Troubleshooting
- Device Not Powering On: Ensure the power cable is correctly connected and receiving 12V power from the motorcycle's ignition. If using USB, ensure the power source provides 5V 2A.
- Recording Issues (Flickering/Stopping): Verify the power supply is stable. Some users have reported issues with 5V USB power; a direct 12V connection is recommended for consistent performance. Ensure the microSD card is a Class 10 or higher and is formatted regularly.
- Camera Image Blurry/Not Working: Check camera connections. Ensure lenses are clean and free from obstructions. If a camera consistently malfunctions, contact support.
- WiFi Connection Problems: Ensure the WiFi module is enabled. Restart the device and your mobile phone. Reinstall the "WiFi Camera" app if necessary.
- GPS Not Tracking: Ensure the GPS module is properly installed and has a clear view of the sky. Check the blue light on the wired controller for GPS status.
- Interference (Audio/Video): Some electrical interference from the motorcycle (e.g., horn, high RPMs) may affect audio or video quality. If audio interference is significant, consider turning off sound recording.
- Parking Monitoring Not Activating: Ensure the motorcycle battery voltage is above 11.8V. This feature does not work with USB power or certain electric vehicle setups.
If you encounter persistent issues not resolved by these steps, please contact VSYSTO customer support.
