Setup Instructions

1. Charging the Receiver and Remote

Before initial use, fully charge both the receiver and your compatible Heaflex D8 remote control. Use the provided 2-in-1 USB charging cable.

  1. Connect the dual DC round-head connectors of the 2-in-1 USB cable to the charging ports on the receiver and the remote control.
  2. Plug the USB end of the cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., power bank, car charger, AC adapter, laptop USB 2.0 port).
  3. Allow both devices to charge until their respective indicator lights show a full charge. The receiver has a standby time of up to 45 days when fully charged.

2. Fitting the Receiver Collar

Proper fit of the receiver collar is crucial for effective and safe training. The receiver is suitable for dogs weighing 5–120 lbs.

  1. Place the receiver on your dog's neck, ensuring the contact points are positioned on the underside of the neck, making direct contact with the skin.
  2. Adjust the strap so it is snug but not too tight. You should be able to fit two fingers comfortably between the strap and your dog's neck.
  3. Ensure the collar is worn on the side of the neck for safer and more stable positioning. Do not connect a leash to the training collar.

3. Pairing (If Replacing Receiver)

One-Click Off Button

The receiver is equipped with a convenient one-click off button. Pressing this button will instantly deactivate the receiver, providing quick control for emergencies or when training is completed.

Waterproof Design (IP67)

The receiver boasts an IP67 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected from dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when near water.
