1. Assembly

3. Attaching the Shoulder Strap

Operating Instructions

1. Starting the Engine

1. Place the trimmer on a flat, stable surface.
2. Ensure the on/off switch is in the "ON" position.
3. Push the primer bulb 3-5 times until fuel is visible in the return line.
4. Move the choke lever to the "FULL CHOKE" position.
5. Pull the starter rope firmly and smoothly until the engine attempts to start (usually 1-3 pulls).
6. Once the engine "pops" or attempts to start, move the choke lever to the "HALF CHOKE" position.
7. Pull the starter rope again until the engine starts and runs smoothly.
8. Allow the engine to warm up for a few seconds, then move the choke lever to the "RUN" position.

2. Using the Controls

• Throttle Trigger: Squeeze the throttle trigger to increase engine speed and engage the cutting line. Release to idle.
• On/Off Switch: Located on the handle, this switch controls the engine's power. Move to "OFF" to stop the engine.
• Adjustable D-Handle: Adjust the position of the D-handle along the shaft to find the most comfortable and balanced operating position for various trimming angles.

3. Trimming Techniques

• Bump Feed: To advance new cutting line, lightly tap the trimmer head on the ground while the engine is running at full throttle. The dual line system will automatically extend.
• Edging: For precise edging along sidewalks or driveways, tilt the trimmer head to a vertical position.

Maintenance
