1. Introduction and Overview
The BRESSER Professional 8-in-1 WiFi Weather Station Bise (Model 15199) is designed to provide comprehensive weather data. This modern weather station displays important climate and time data on a clear 7.4-inch (18.8 cm) screen. It features a multi-sensor outdoor unit that collects various measurements directly from your immediate environment, including outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, precipitation, UV level, light intensity, and Wet-Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT).
The base unit also monitors indoor temperature and humidity, atmospheric pressure, and provides a comfort indicator. With WiFi connectivity, data can be published to Weathercloud, allowing remote access to your weather information. The WSLink application facilitates easy WiFi connection, platform integration, data calibration, and firmware updates.

3.2 Powering the Outdoor Sensor
- Open the battery compartment on the 8-in-1 outdoor sensor.
- Insert 3 x AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
3.3 Sensor Placement
The 8-in-1 outdoor sensor has a range of up to 150 meters and a water-resistant casing. For optimal performance, choose a location that provides accurate readings for wind, rain, and sunlight, away from obstructions. Ensure the sensor is securely mounted and accessible for maintenance.
3.4 WiFi Connection and App Setup
- Download the WSLink application on your smartphone or tablet.
- Follow the in-app instructions to connect the weather station to your local WiFi network.
- Use the WSLink app to configure settings, calibrate data, and connect to weather platforms like Weathercloud for online data publishing.
- The station will automatically synchronize time, date, and moon phase via the internet once connected to WiFi.
4. Operating the Weather Station
The 7.4-inch display provides a clear overview of all collected weather data.

Image 4.1: Detailed view of the weather station's display, showing various readings.
4.1 Displayed Information
- Outdoor Data: Temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, precipitation, UV level, light intensity, WBGT (Wet-Bulb Globe Temperature).
- Indoor Data: Temperature and humidity with comfort indicator.
- Atmospheric Pressure: Measured by the integrated barometer.
- Weather Forecast: Graphical representation.
- Time and Date: Automatic synchronization via internet, including moon phase.
- Weather Index: Displays "feels like" temperature, heat index, dew point, and wind chill factor.
- Beaufort Scale: Indicates wind force.
- Heat Stress Index: Provides reliable reference values for hot conditions.
4.2 WBGT Measurement and Heat Stress Index
The WBGT (Wet-Bulb Globe Temperature) measurement combines air temperature, mean radiant temperature, and wet-bulb temperature (dependent on humidity) to assess heat stress. The integrated heat stress index provides warnings when conditions exceed safe levels, particularly useful for outdoor activities.
4.3 Max/Min Memory and Alarms
The station records maximum and minimum values for various parameters, allowing you to track weather trends. Customizable maximum/minimum alarms can be set to alert you when specific thresholds are exceeded or not met.
4.4 Alarm Clock with Frost Alert
An integrated alarm clock is included. If the outdoor temperature drops below -3 °C, the alarm will sound 30 minutes earlier, providing an early warning for frost conditions.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Sensor Cleaning
Periodically inspect the 8-in-1 outdoor sensor for dirt, debris, or spiderwebs that might obstruct the rain collector, wind cups, or other sensing elements. Gently clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5.2 Battery Replacement
- Outdoor Sensor: Replace the 3 x AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the base unit display.
- Base Unit: Replace the CR2032 backup battery annually or when necessary to maintain time and settings during power outages.
5.3 Firmware Updates
Ensure your weather station's firmware is up to date using the WSLink application. Regular firmware updates can improve performance and add new features.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Display/Power: Check the power adapter connection to the base unit and the electrical outlet. Ensure the CR2032 backup battery is correctly installed.
- No Outdoor Sensor Data: Verify that the 3 x AA batteries in the outdoor sensor are fresh and correctly installed. Ensure the sensor is within the 150m range of the base unit and there are no significant obstructions. Press the 'Refresh' button on the base unit (if available) or restart both units.
- WiFi Connectivity Issues: Ensure your WiFi network is active and the password entered in the WSLink app is correct. Try restarting your router and the weather station. Ensure the station is within range of your WiFi router.
- Inaccurate Readings: Check the outdoor sensor for any obstructions (e.g., leaves in the rain collector, spiderwebs on wind sensors). Ensure the sensor is placed in an open area, away from direct heat sources or reflective surfaces. Calibrate sensors via the WSLink app if necessary.
