Setup and First Use

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with fresh water to the maximum level. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process two to three times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the countertop and out of reach of children.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable wall outlet.

Operating Instructions

Filling the Kettle

1. Remove the kettle from its power base.
2. Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark (1.8 Liters).
3. Close the lid securely.
4. Place the kettle back onto its power base.

Boiling Water

1. Ensure the kettle is properly filled and placed on the power base.
2. Press the power switch down. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the kettle is heating.
3. The retro temperature display dial will show the real-time water temperature as it heats up.
4. Once the water reaches boiling point, the kettle will automatically switch off, and the indicator light will extinguish.
5. You can remove the kettle from the base to pour. The cool-touch handle ensures safe handling.

Boil-Dry Protection

The kettle is equipped with a boil-dry protection feature. If the kettle is accidentally switched on without sufficient water, it will automatically switch off to prevent damage. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool down for 15-20 minutes before refilling with cold water and operating again.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Exterior Cleaning

• Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the stainless steel finish.
• Ensure no water enters the electrical components.

Descaling

Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. Regular descaling is recommended to maintain performance and extend the life of your kettle.

• Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water, or use a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions.
• Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer if scale is heavy.
• Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly with fresh water several times.
• If necessary, repeat the process until all scale is removed.
