5. Installation & Setup
5.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Remove all packing materials, tape, and protective film.
5.2 Placement
- Place the unit on a firm, level surface capable of supporting its weight.
- Ensure there is at least 5 inches (12.7 cm) of space around the back and sides for proper ventilation.
- Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
- The machine's feet are designed to minimize impact from ground humidity.
- Allow the machine to stand upright for 24 hours before initial use to allow the refrigerant to stabilize.
5.3 Water Connection
The ice maker offers two methods for water supply:
- Direct Tap Water Connection: Connect the provided inlet water pipe to a potable water faucet. Ensure the water filter is installed in-line as shown in Figure 4.

5.4 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, it is recommended to clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the "Cleaning & Maintenance" section for detailed instructions on using the self-cleaning function.
5.5 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet meets the specified voltage and frequency requirements.
6. Operation
6.1 Control Panel Overview
The ice maker is equipped with an LCD display and intuitive controls for various functions including self-cleaning, defrosting, reservation, and malfunction reminders.
6.2 Making Ice
Once connected to a water source and powered on, the machine will automatically begin the ice-making process. The first cycle may take slightly longer. The machine produces 24 clear ice cubes per cycle.
6.3 Adjusting Ice Thickness
You can adjust the ice-making time and the thickness of the ice cubes using the (+) or (-) buttons on the control panel. Longer cycles result in thicker ice.
- Thin Ice: Approximately 5-8 minutes per cycle.
- Medium Ice: Approximately 8-11 minutes per cycle.
- Thick Ice: Approximately 11-15 minutes per cycle.
