2. Product Features

  • Automatic Temperature Control Function: The top roof vent is equipped with two rods. One rod automatically adjusts the window angle based on temperature (closes at 10°C, opens to 35° at 35°C). The second rod allows for manual adjustment.
  • Premium Cedar Wood: Constructed from high-quality cedar wood, offering insect-resistant properties and stability against cracking or distortion.
  • Multi-Layer Polycarbonate Panels: Inserted panels mimic natural light, filter harmful UV rays, and protect plants while promoting uniform growth.
  • Spacious Gardening Space: Provides ample room for various plants, vegetables, and tools, serving as both a practical garden room and a relaxing retreat. Includes an additional vent for ventilation when windows are closed.
  • Additional Accessories: Heavy-duty hooks (supporting up to 55 lbs) for hanging lights or decorations. Anchoring stakes and expansion bolts ensure stability against up to 6 inches of snow and 60-70 mph winds.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Automatic Temperature Control Roof Vent

The greenhouse features an automatic roof vent that adjusts based on internal temperature. When the temperature reaches 10°C (50°F), the window slowly closes. As the temperature rises to 35°C (95°F), the window opens to a maximum angle of 35° to allow for ventilation.

5.2. Manual Roof Vent Adjustment

An additional rod allows for manual adjustment of the roof vent angle. Use this feature to fine-tune ventilation as needed, independent of the automatic system.

5.3. Lockable Door

The greenhouse is equipped with a lockable door for security. Ensure the door is properly closed and locked when not in use to protect your plants and equipment.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the polycarbonate panels with mild soap and water to maintain light transmission. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Frame Inspection: Periodically check the cedar wood frame for any signs of wear, damage, or loose fasteners. Tighten screws as needed.
  • Panel Integrity: Ensure all polycarbonate panels are securely in place. If any panels become loose, re-secure them using the appropriate clips or fasteners.
  • Vent Mechanism: Keep the automatic and manual vent mechanisms clean and free of debris to ensure smooth operation.
  • Seasonal Care: In areas with heavy snowfall, consider gently removing excessive snow accumulation from the roof to prevent structural stress. Panels can be removed and stored during off-season for extended longevity.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Panels are loose: Check the clips and securing strips. Ensure they are properly installed and tightened.
  • Water leakage: Inspect all panel seams and connections. Apply additional glazing glue or sealant if necessary to prevent leaks.
  • Vent not opening/closing: Check for obstructions in the mechanism. Ensure the automatic rod is not damaged and the manual rod is correctly positioned.
  • Greenhouse instability: Verify that anchoring stakes and expansion bolts are firmly secured into the ground. Re-tighten if any movement is detected.
