5. Installation & Wiring
Important: Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician. Ensure power is disconnected before installation to prevent electric shock.
5.1 Wiring Diagrams
The DUALR3 supports various wiring configurations depending on the desired application:

Motor Mode
Used for controlling motorized devices like roller shutters. Connect the motor's up/down wires to L Out 1 and L Out 2. Connect the power supply (N, L In) and optional momentary switches to S1/S2.
Switch Mode
Used for controlling two independent lights or appliances. Connect the loads to L Out 1 and L Out 2. Connect the power supply (N, L In) and SPDT switches to S1/S2.
Meter Mode
Used for monitoring power consumption of two independent loads. Connect the loads to L Out 1 and L Out 2. Connect the power supply (N, L In).
5.2 Compatible Switch Types
The DUALR3 is compatible with various existing switch types, allowing you to retain your original wall switches while adding smart control.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Pairing with the eWeLink App
- Download the eWeLink app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Register an account and log in.
- Power on the DUALR3.
- Press and hold the pairing button on the DUALR3 for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator flashes rapidly.
- In the eWeLink app, tap the '+' icon to add a device and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.
6.2 Remote Control
Once paired, you can control your connected devices remotely via the eWeLink app from anywhere with an internet connection.

6.3 Voice Control
Integrate the DUALR3 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for hands-free control. Follow the instructions within the eWeLink app to link your account with your preferred voice assistant.
6.4 Scheduling and Timers
Use the eWeLink app to set up schedules, countdown timers, or loop timers for automated control of your devices. This is particularly useful for managing curtains or blinds to open/close at specific times.
6.5 Power Metering
In Meter Mode, the DUALR3 monitors the power consumption of connected devices. View real-time data and historical usage reports in the eWeLink app to help manage energy efficiency.

7. Maintenance
- Keep the device clean and dry.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or humidity.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Contact customer support if issues arise.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device Offline: Check your Wi-Fi connection and ensure the DUALR3 is within range. Restart the device and your router if necessary.
- Failed Pairing: Ensure the Wi-Fi indicator is flashing rapidly. If not, reset the device by pressing the pairing button for 5 seconds. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz.
- Inaccurate Power Metering: Verify that the wiring is correct according to the Meter Mode diagram.
- Motor Not Responding: Check the motor wiring in Motor Mode. Ensure the motor is functioning correctly independently of the DUALR3.
- Voice Control Issues: Confirm that the eWeLink app is correctly linked to your voice assistant account and that device names are recognized.
