Follow these steps carefully to install your motherboard and components.

5.1. CPU Installation

  1. Locate the AM5 socket on the motherboard.
  2. Open the CPU retention lever.
  3. Carefully align the CPU with the socket, ensuring the golden triangle on the CPU matches the triangle on the socket. Do not force the CPU into the socket.
  4. Gently lower the CPU into place.
  5. Close the retention lever to secure the CPU.
  6. Apply thermal paste and install your CPU cooler according to its instructions.

5.2. Memory (RAM) Installation

  1. Open the clips at both ends of the DDR5 DIMM slots.
  2. Align the notch on the DDR5 memory module with the key in the DIMM slot.
  3. Insert the memory module firmly into the slot until the clips snap into place. Ensure both clips are closed.
  4. For dual-channel operation, install memory modules into the recommended slots (refer to your motherboard manual for specific slot pairing).

5.3. M.2 SSD Installation

  1. Locate the M.2 slots on the motherboard.
  2. Remove the M.2 Shield Frozr heatsink by unscrewing its retention screws.
  3. Insert the M.2 SSD into the slot at a slight angle.
