4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the DC In port on the speaker.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
3. The LED indicators on the top panel will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 3.8 hours with 40W fast charging.

4.2 Powering On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the Power button (⏻) on the top panel until you hear an audible prompt.
• To power off, press and hold the Power button (⏻) again until the speaker shuts down.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (the Bluetooth indicator LED will be blinking).
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "COMISO M8" from the list. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator LED will become solid.

5.1 Basic Controls

5.2 EQ Modes

The speaker features built-in EQ presets to optimize sound for different environments:

• Standard Mode: Balanced sound profile for general listening.
• Indoor Mode: Enhanced bass and clarity for enclosed spaces.
• Outdoor Mode: Boosted volume and treble to cut through ambient noise.

Press the EQ button to cycle through these modes.

5.3 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve 300W (PEAK) 360° stereo sound, you can pair two COMISO M8 speakers:

1. Ensure both M8 speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker, press and hold the △ (TWS Pairing) button. The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, the TWS indicator LED on both speakers will become solid.
4. Connect your device to one of the paired M8 speakers via Bluetooth. Both speakers will now play in stereo.

5.4 Power Bank Function

The COMISO M8 can act as a power bank to charge your other devices:

1. Open the rubber cover on the rear panel to access the USB-A port.
2. Connect your device's charging cable to the USB-A port on the speaker.
3. Charging will begin automatically.

5.5 Karaoke & Microphone Input

The speaker supports wired microphones for karaoke or public address:

1. Connect a wired microphone (not included) to the Mic input port on the rear panel.
2. Adjust the microphone volume using the connected microphone's controls or the speaker's main volume.
3. Note: For wireless microphone functionality, only COMISO brand custom wireless microphones (ASIN: B0G5PDSLZR) are compatible.

• Keep the rubber cover for the ports securely closed when not in use to maintain IPX6 water resistance.
• Clean the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Avoid exposing the speaker to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
• Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 No Power

• Ensure the speaker is fully charged.
• Verify the charging cable and adapter are working correctly.

7.2 No Sound

• Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device.
• Ensure the speaker is correctly paired via Bluetooth or connected via AUX/USB.
• If using Bluetooth, try unpairing and re-pairing the device.

7.3 Bluetooth Disconnection

• Ensure your device is within the Bluetooth range (typically 10 meters/33 feet).
• Avoid obstacles between the speaker and your device that may interfere with the signal.
• Turn off and on Bluetooth on your device, then try re-pairing.

7.4 TWS Pairing Issues

• Ensure both M8 speakers are fully charged and not connected to any other devices.
