2. Safety Information

3. Setup
3.1 Initial Setup
- The tags come with a pre-installed CR2032 lithium battery. Remove the insulation sheet from the battery compartment to activate the tag.

3.2 Pairing with iOS (Apple Find My App)
- Ensure Bluetooth and Location Services are enabled on your iOS device.

Note: The TIMU Smart Tag can only be paired with either an iOS device or an Android device at one time. It cannot be simultaneously connected to both systems.
4. Operating Instructions

- Play Sound: From the Find My (iOS) or Find Hub (Android) app, select your tag and tap "Play Sound" to trigger an 80-100 decibel alert from the tag's built-in speaker. This is ideal for locating items in close proximity, such as under a sofa or in a cluttered drawer.
- Find Nearby: The app displays the distance to your lost item (Bluetooth range up to 36 meters) to help narrow your search area.
- Map Search: View the real-time location of your tag on the map within the app.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
The TIMU Smart Tags use a replaceable CR2032 button battery, offering up to 2 years of use. To replace the battery:
- Carefully open the tag's casing (a small tool may be provided or required).
- Remove the old CR2032 battery.
- Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Close the casing securely.
5.2 Water Resistance
